  1. Don't think anyone is condoning what Ward did.
  2. I knew Rymel and Makovsky were over but didn't realise Carlos Villar was being inducted. Is Villar still doing his car racing, seemed to be cutting out himself quite a career on four wheels after his career on two was cut short.
  3. Cheers, see thing odd thing is while me and you agree on virtually nothing I actually like reading your posts, they are normally well put together and good to read.
  4. Jealousy, insecurity, maybe he just likes it, flattery comes in many forms and disguises you know.
  5. Ways and means round that surely, if Wolbert was on the fiddle I am amazed Glasgow let the situation go on for entire season.
  6. Part of this forum is to advise, praise, offer opinion and on occasion criticize, which we all do, if you don't like it maybe this forum is not the right place for you, or on the other hand there is an ignore feature with which you are free to use at your discretion.
  7. Whether its hundreds, thousands or indeed hundreds of thousands sign the Ward support petition on social media I doubt it will hold much sway with the FIM, one thing though I wish the disciplinary date was here and we could put this whole episode to bed one way or another.
  8. So it might have been an idea to have a spy at Berwick rather than in Oz.
  9. The fact that Sissis will start out at reserve for Sheffield will see him be a decent scorer IMO, many Sheffield fans only a few weeks ago was applauding their promotion for signing Sissis.
  10. If your suggesting Berwick have a spy, or scout out in Australia, my question would be where has he been until now, especially when you look at the talent that has come over here in the last few seasons.
  11. Don't know what the bigger surprise is, Mr. Barrie having a fan club or Glasgow having an un-vandalized phone box.
  12. I think its a good eye from Berwick rather than a spy somewhere in Australia. I agree, with his time at Berwick and then Leicester Edberg now must be considered to be an experienced PL rider, his equipment is always immaculately turned out and he does have the best of gear. Thing is his still has a sub four point average, sadly for him injuries have played their part which has restricted his progress but the fact remains he is still way off his assessed starting average of five. I hope he does improve his average as you say, with his reserve partner for 2015 likely to be less experienced and on a lower average he will need to.
  13. Of course any improvement would be great but IMO if Jorgensen ends the season on the average he starts with he will be doing well, I see his role as third heat leader behind Barker & Vissing, a rider on a 7+ average will be a plus for the team.
  14. No no fairs fair I posted something that some on here have taken offence at, though no offence was intended, and for that I was wrong and have apologized. Lesson learned.
  15. And before anyone else posts it after yesterday I`m guessing I`m going to be one.
  16. Frustrating rider at times, capable of big scores but also capable of going through patches where you wonder where the next win is coming from. Seems to have done ok over the last couple of seasons racing in the Swedish Leagues, if he brings that form with him he could be a trump card for Rye House.
  17. For those who found offence in a post I made on here yesterday, I wholeheartedly apologies, non was ever meant and if it came across as so then I was wrong.
  18. Normally I decide not to reply your posts but I aint letting this beauty go, at no point did I mention Wethers horrible crash last year, nor would I, its you that brought it up, probably to take another cheap shot. I wish Wethers all the best at Workington, but I think Berwick would be better looking else where, maybe a newcomer to Berwick and/or PL racing. Keep up the cheap shots though.
  19. And let us all be thankful for that.
  20. Wethers last average on the BSPA site is 5-50, if he signs that leaves a fraction over three for the last rider.
  21. That particular can of worms was opened a while ago, seems Berwick are resting their hopes that Allen will declared a 5pt assessed average, and if he is then happy days, if of course he is declared a seven then Berwick will need to get the calculator out to accommodate him and drop riders that have already been signed.
  22. Don't think anyone would argue with the Barker signing, top PL rider on a top PL average, if he can maintain that average over the season that will give us a genuine out and out No1 and score lots of points in doing so. But Ben cant do it all on his own, so its important the other riders step up and back our No1 up.
  23. I take it in that case that he has at least been looked at, could the club put out a news letter saying how proud they are about Castagna racing in such high pedigree meetings, they normally do to cover other riders, but I agree any rider missing lots of Saturdays is no good or indeed any Berwick meetings, especially if we don't get a guest so he may be a no go. Un-proven in UK competition a bit like Allen then, should they go through with his signing of course.
  24. His was name was mentioned pre-Xmas, apparently the distance he would have to travel would be the problem, though if there`s a contract and a job at the end of it you`d think it would be worth while making the effort.
  25. So in other words Edberg has ridden on and off for three seasons and is yet to hit the assessed average he started with, and Edberg last year was second reserve as he had a top scoring reserve as a partner. But your right if Edberg can ride to a 5pt average and above hopefully he will be doing well, and as it looks like he will be the senior reserve in the team in term of averages so he will need to.
