  1. Maybe Berwick could wangle the Championship team into the NDL.
  2. Now the promotion have completed their Championship team they can concentrate on the NDL team. I take it there will be an NDL team ?.
  3. Maybe Harris sees going back to Glasgow as unfinished business, certainly one of the best riders in the league and a good signing for Glasgow I think.
  4. Now now come on Mr Barrie, through his writings on his various platforms, has told us he doesn't use this forum and sees it as mostly full of " forum fannies ". To tell us one thing then do another would be of the upmost hypocrisy. I am sure Cresent Girl pays their money either at the turnstile, on line or season pass, that imo entitles them to an opinion.
  5. I`m confident Harris will be at Glasgow.
  6. Wouldn't Birmingham make more sense travel wise, I thought Oxford were sticking pretty much to the team they had last season.
  7. Lets hope then that you are right and I`m wrong.
  8. And that ladies and gentleman covers it perfectly. PS Schlein should be nowhere near the younger riders, either at Berwick or Team GB.
  9. I cant believe that any promotion would sign a team with the knowledge of a team change, so our promotion clearly this team is good enough to compete with the others, hopefully with the ambition of it being successful. I think they are very much mistaken.
  10. I expect Chris Harris to be announced in the not to distant future.
  11. I cant get into the mind set of signing a team in full knowledge that you are making a team change or two just a few meetings into the season. Either the team is good enough or it isn't.
  12. Some of the points Berwick lose with Jorgensen will be off set slightly with a points gain when Knudson gets a true average. But I agree with you, this is a very poor side, the promotion should know Jorgensen`s average will drop that should mean you start off with a points scoring reserve to cover, as should've happened last season with Etheridge before injury then Knudson. Berwick`s reserves are woeful. It can only be hoped that Flint and Knudson come up trumps.
  13. We can only hope that every Saturday is dry and the track ultra slick and smooth. We all know what Rory`s attitude is like when it isn't. As I say awful signing.
  14. By that stage the season will be over.
  15. Do they ever ask the fans what they think, maybe too afraid to find out.
  16. A fit for use on line club shop is long overdue IMO but credit for at last putting something in place. Lets wait and see what we get
  17. Most of the top riders just aren't interested in this kind of meeting anymore.
  18. Interesting to see what happens to season ticket prices especially now we have only eight Championship league meetings. delighted it seems we are now going to get at long last with a proper on line merchandise shop for next season. https://www.berwickspeedway.com/news/season-pass-launch-date/
  19. Complin was roumered to be heading elsewhere, let's hope that is true
  20. Glasgow Tigers wishes to announce our thanks to Craig Cook as we confirm his departure from the team ahead of the 2023 season. After more than three years as a Tiger, we wish Craig all the best for the future. Taken from Twitter
  21. Don't worry its a very low bar at stake.
  22. Thats been the age-old problem where people get something else to do on a race night, or their children do more likely, obviously there are others who become tired with speedway and the ever-changing rules, and who can blame them. I don't believe that the powers that be have it in them to re-invent a sport that can attract new supporters, let's face they have a fight on just to keep the fans they have at the minute.
  23. Any club signing Barker deserve all they get IMO, surely everyone would've learned by now.
