  1. Yet Wolverhampton could use Scott Nicholls as a guest last night for Luke Becker who had yet rode a competitive meeting for his club.
  2. Why indeed, the Berwick riders had a duty to be ready for the fixture as they had enough time to get the necessary preparations in place to be ready, though they probably weren't helped by the club agreeing to a KO Cup fixture straight off, poor planning and a poor excuse.
  3. Our cup hopes are over https://speedwayupdates.proboards.com/thread/21541/redcar-berwick-championship-koc-2023
  4. Firstly, we are in England thankfully . The meeting being off tonight comes as no surprise giving the weather in Berwick this week. Monday was lovely, since then we have had showers and longer spells of rain each day.
  5. Forecast for tomorrows meeting none to clever either.
  6. Away win IMO, something I may be typing more than once this season.
  7. Forecast for tomorrow according to the BBC https://www.bbc.co.uk/weather/2639563 As for the meeting a home win IMO.
  8. Short video of todays practice, taken from Youtube
  9. Looks like Jye Etheridge has suffered a dislocated shoulder riding in the Sam Master testimonial meeting at Wolverhampton.
  10. Unless you have Berwick on your list you can`t call yourself a speedway fan.
  11. Bullets fixtures should be out Monday morning.
  12. Does the fixture list mean anything these days, you can bet the first lot of meetings will be virtually nothing like what actually takes place.
  13. Bruce Cribb Roger Wright Wayne Brown Colin Farquharson
  14. You can cross Ace Pijper off the list.
  15. Taken from facebook THE LEGACY CONTINUES! Ladies and Gentleman please give a warm Shielfield Park welcome back to Greg Blair for 2023! The ultra popular Jedburgh based rider will also captain the Bullets side for the upcoming season and team manager Gary Flint adds, “Greg has proven to be a leader in the pits and on the track and we have no doubt that he is the man for the captains role. He’s a huge part of the club and his popularity on and off the track is largely down to his charisma and never give up attitude. His family history with the club is also legendary. For those who aren’t aware, Greg’s great grandparents founded Berwick Speedway back in 1968 and to be heading into 2023 with Greg being a big part of the action is very exciting”. Blair missed the last meeting of 2022 due to injury but a strict fitness regime and some time to refocus is working a treat and he adds, “ I’m beyond thrilled to be back for my third season with the Bullets and to top it off being asked to be captain of my home club is a massive honour for me! The last two seasons have been amazing, I’ve loved every minute of being a Speedway rider again and I’ve met some incredible people which have opened new doors in my life too. I’ve been hosting a live chat show and doing some presenting on the British Speedway Network & I really don’t think this would have been possible if it hadn’t been for the birth of the Bullets and to that I’m forever grateful. I hope everyone has a lovely Christmas and I’ll see you all trackside in the new year x” Stay tuned for all things Berwick Speedway right here!
  16. Plymouth clearly don't learn their lesson regarding Barker. They will reap what they sow.
  17. Given the state of his equipment he turned up with, it was a miracle he made it that far.
  18. With the Redcar team being revealed and no Craig Cook, its an odds-on certainty that he will be at Edinburgh now.
