  1. Nor me,Ive subscribed for a few ywars and I get me Speedway Star by post each and every thursday.
  2. A home track on a tuesday might pose a bit tricky,if he was to ride in the top league in Sweden.
  3. Skys speedway deal ran out yesterday,Im hoping for an announcement on a new deal quite soon.
  4. But it panders to a certain section of the Berwick fans,so all is good.
  5. Mr. Barrie will be loving reading this thread.
  6. Must have been a cracking day round at yours yesterday.
  7. It seems that Mr Barries self announced retirement was slightly premature, giving that fact he attended virtually every meeting last season.
  8. I suppose you know what Glasgow are paying Berge, and Poole Millik,I bow to your superior knowlege.
  9. Cant believe theres some Panthers fans not wanting to see their club in the PL,to those I say give PL racing a go,you wont regret it.The racing is every bit as entertaining as in the EL,and you never know Peterborough might actually win something.
  10. Tresaraiu wont be incredible to watch the EOES.
  11. Agree with you, its going to put off most away fans from travelling never mind home fans.
  12. I can thoroughly recommend a visit, I went to last years 4TT meeting and was very impressed.I will be making every effort to try to make the Berwick meeting especially if its on a mini-tour.
  13. He will if theres a club who want him, must admit Ive got my doubts.
  14. I get the argument that Berwick may be a little weak in Hts 13 & 15,especially away from home, but IMO now we are going with strength in depth Id hope we will make up any short comings in Ht 2,8 & 14.
  15. What a very pathectic response, though no surprise giving some of the other tripe youve posted. So there will be no team kevlars, maybe those who argued about the Edberg equals team kevlars last season were not that wide of the mark. And he would be correct.
  16. I hope the EOES will continue to host the Fours.
  17. Dont worry we will have the meetings won by the end of Ht12.
  18. After last seasons failing the Berwick promotion had to make sweeping changes, which they have done, and IMO they have come up with a decent team. Doolan and Wethers will be the dependable duo, averages wont increase by much but then again wont drop by to much either. Hopefully Bellego will continue to improve, particularly on away tracks, where his scoring consistency needs to improve. Vissing and Kus have shown they are better than their averages suggest to IMO they hold the key to Berwick fortunes. Steen Jensen has scored well last season in the Danish, starting at reserve should help him to score good points which he will need to do. Carr will do ok at home, his target should be to ride to his average over the season,if he ends the season with a 3+ average then he`ll have done his job.
  19. On this occasion no,I was giving this piece of news from a fellow poster, along with the remaining 2 names that will complete the team.
  20. Dont worry I can hold my own with the best of them.
  21. Ive got plenty material of my own without jumping on your bandwagon. Some wont believe untill Berwick have announced it Im afraid, but some have known about this for a day or two.
  22. I thought I was being asked to vote for Geof Boycott.
  23. Oh give over,Mr Jensen obviously bursting with excitement on joining Berwick and cant wait to tell the World.Im sure we`ll get Berwicks take on the signing either later today or in the morning.
  24. Berwick have certainly pulled a rabbit out of the hat with this one, could be a good scorer at reserve. Over the last few seasons most Berwick fans,me included, have probably thought our team was way better than it actually was. This year we may not have the greatest team on paper but with the riders we have I think this team might just click.
