  1. His EL average is 5-83,so his PL average will be around 9-76,way to high for Berwicks team building purposes giving we only have 15-55 left to go.Even if one of those signing is Liam Carr its still difficult to see Hansen being at Berwick next year.
  2. Like all my posts I thought it was fantastic, but then again that might just be me.
  3. Ive already posted that, but my post was met with skorn from the forum humour police who didnt get my go at hilarity atall, which is surprising giving some of the stuff they post.
  4. Have you noticed no Tai Woffinden at Wolves yet, thats all Im saying.
  5. Every chance that wethers will follow Vissing to Berwick.
  6. Skidmores back at Redcar,Im going for Wethers,Carr and a surprise signing.
  7. Berwick Bandits are delighted to confirm their fourth signing for next season. He is 27-year old Claus Vissing, from Grinsted, Denmark. Claus has been anxious to link with Berwick for some time, but as his contract was to an extent in limbo after the closure of parent club Peterborough, it was only late on Friday that full permission was given for him to link with the Bandits (on loan from the BSPA) and his personal contracts were signed and registered. Claus spent 2013 with Edinburgh, and was impressive on visits to Shielfield, both with the Monarchs and in the season's opening Ben-Fund Bonanza, when he finished runner-up. He joins us with an average of 6.89, and will add experience and enthusiasm to our side. There could be one surprise signing to come.
  8. Not so sure about alden, but you got a strong reserve to go with Carr, which I think everyone seems to believe is the way to go. But there may be at least one surprise signing to come.
  9. Theres one or two on here who see Kus as a risky signing and I can see why giving some of his performances for Redcar last season. But theres a decent rider there somewhere, hopefully we will see that at Berwick. Ive no doubt we will see Carr in the 2014 Berwick team,I must admit Ive got some of the same reservations about Carr as some have about Kus.My worry is that Carr isnt at PL standard yet, though theres only one way to find out I suppose. One things for sure if Berwick look elsewhere then Carr will be in the PL with another club. One thing that could aid things is that he remains in the NL,last season he was putting in some decent scores for Buxton,if hes winning races and scoring well at NL level then that can only be a good thing for Berwick at PL level.
  10. Disagree completely,IMO this has the potential of being our best winter signing, we have a rider in Kus who has the qualities of being a top rider, our management and promotion must try to get the best out of him, if they do he will make a mockery of his starting average.
  11. Maybe part of the desision to give up on the GPs, is for Gollob to become our No1.
  12. I agree, going with two 3pt reserves would leave us very weak at that bottom end of the team. Some one posted a team the other day that had Tero Aarnio has the other reserve with Carr, doesnt need to be Aarnio but a rider of similar experience and scoring potential would be ideal.
  13. Harris is indeed the next rider in line from last years GP Challenge meeting to qualify for next years series, should the chance ever arise.Well it has arose,so Harris has taken his chance, and no one can blame him for that. But come on people there is nothing to suggest that Harris will be anything other than an emmbrassment next year, and dont give me this whooey about we said the same about Woffinden last year.Anybody that thinks that Harris could be 2014 World Champ needs serious help.
  14. I bow to your superior knowlege on the details of the deal that took Berge to Glasgow, and your knowlege on the deal Berwick offered Berge, if there was a deal offered at all of course. The Glasgow promotion, of course, may see that any out lay now will be a sound investment, especially if Berge proves to be any good. Also, last week most Berwick posters saw Berge as an ideal kind of signing, now he`s joined Glasgow it seems young Berge isnt quite as good as he was. Very odd.
  15. I would've liked to have seen Starke return, I'm not so sure that Carr is ready for a fulltime season in the PL, this is where I agree with our team manager.
  16. Doolan will make a decent signing, though hardly likely to increase his starting average, but will be good back-up to our No1. Cant help thinking missing out on Berge and/or Starke will be more significant for Berwick.
  17. Kenneth Kruse Hansen ‏@KennethKHansen 8 Dec @Geordiepete1 If I had I would not tell it on here Buddy #bandits2014 Theres certainly a hint there somewhere.
  18. Ive always liked our team to have an out and out No1,but in truth I dont see that working next year if Carr is one of the reserves.Like you say if Carrs in then his reserve partner must be one of the highest averaging reserves around.
  19. Always good for conspiracy theorists.
  20. You can bet the owner will have a snyper placed on the walls above from now on.
  21. Now that it seems that Josef Tabaka will miss the start of next season, wonder if that inceases the chances of Edinburgh using Matty Wethers. We`ve named our teams, debated them, suggested other riders and debated them also, with only one rider signed so far its little wonder that this thread has slightly go off subject. Wait any longer and we`ll be debating Berwicks nicest car parks.
  22. We do seem to be lagging behind, but Im sure the promotion have it all under control and they have a team ready for 2014. Well we can hope cant we. Something we are all guilty of.
  23. Me thinkith he doth take this forum a bit to seriously.
