Dont worry I expect no support whatsoever,my opinion is Im not bothered where our riders ride,Poland,Sweden,Czech,they can do as many UEM,Longtrack,Grasstrack meetings as they like,all I ask is that they are present for all Berwicks meeting.Josef Franc wasnt signed because of this very reason and I congratulated the promotion for it.This season we`ve had Edberg,Bellego and Alden all miss meetings,and that does Berwick no good.Im told that this is the modern way in speedway these days,but theres times where change is always for the better. Would I have Alden back next year,yes of course I would,but that wont change my opinion on riders,not just Alden,missing meeting.

It was a point I made a few days ago,if the rules remains that its 6 home six away for a rider to become an asset then Barrett will not be a Berwick asset come the end of the season as he would be one home meeting short.Whether is would get a true average,or still be saddled with a 7pts assessed on I would know,though giving that Edberg rode in the last few meetings that saw him on a true average Id guess Barrett will start next yrar on a 7. Dont see the point in re-declaring the team at this late stage,as long as we dont get more injuries of course.

Lasse Bjerre guests for Ashworth,as you say sadly our team captain has better things to do in Sweden,hopefully this will be taken into consideration when next years yeam is put together,as it will for other riders.

Giving the other alternatives it would be just plain wrong if any Brit rider were to be giving a wildcard pick,pains me to say but theres none good enough at present,Woffinden is probably the best and most promising though to be fair.

I certainly dont disagree,with you,Harris has virtually no chance of making the top eight now,and cant be considered for a wildcard pick for next year IMO.Maybe a year away from the GPs might acctually help him as performances like last cant do anything for his confidence,and will give him a chance to go for the 2014 series through the qualifiers.

Berwick Rangers will get a sell out crowd today of 4400,all paying £10.1100 tickets were sold at Berwick with 3300 going up the road to Glasgow. The crowd at Cardiff seems to get no bigger each year,always around the 40000+ mark,maybe dropping ticket prices would entice a few extra fans but tickets + hotel + food & drink makes it a very expensive trip for your average fan,a fan that has less money to go round than ever before,hopefully BSI will think about that when setting next years prices. Good racing last night,and a win for Holder tightens things up nicely at the top of the World title charts.Wonder if its an idea to make Cardiff the last round,no chance of a rain-off and the title reaching its climax might get an extra few bums on seats.

Thanks for that,so for £200 you get 12 PL home meetings,5 LC meetings,on average that £11-76 per meeting.Id be hoping you get early season challenge matches and whatever we get in the way of YS meetings should we get there of course,dropping the average still further.Thats decent value,best get saving then. Yes I accept that,I know many people havent got the money for a one off payment for a season ticket,though it seems you do save in the long run.The idea of getting a discount from one week to the next with a production of the previous weeks ticket isnt easily workable IMO,and probably more trouble than its worth,not impossible though. As you say the promotion are not slow in offering discounts for admission.

Im sure one of our Monarchs friends will know who Dyer belongs to,up to the end of the season he`s at Berwick,and on early form thats good enough for me.

Id be tempted to buy a season ticket for next season,somebody out there is bound to have one for this season,would it be possible if you could post price and how many meetings you get for your money eg,does it include KOC meetings,PT meetings,YS meetings,I know the GP meeting wasnt included which I understand.Im not so much bothered about the benefits you get for the supporters club,but if theres a discount to be had,and it worked out a good deal cheaper its bound to be a good way in getting guaranteed extra people through the gate and income into the club.
