  1. Do we know what time practice is tomorrow and is Darcy Ward likely to be there,Jason Crump said during last nights meeting that Ward might be there depending on flights,to ride or to watch.
  2. I find it amazing that people are calling for Middlo to go,lets face it there isnt another manager anywhere that couldve done any better with the team we have at present, and the team we had last night and for Event 1 was our strongest team.It might be a good few years untill we see anything like success for Team GB,or in the GPs for that matter.Hopefully the things that Morris,Vatcher and others are doing now will bear fruit in the future, but like I say there are no quick fixes here.
  3. K Buczkowski N K Iversen C Harris A Dryml Team GB = 32pts
  4. Denmark do look the team to beat, but if Mallila is a horse power track then dont rule out the Poles,as for Team GB,third is the best we can hope for IMO.We have had two good meetings so far in the SWC,hopefully thursday & saturdays meetings will be just as good.
  5. Another great meeting last night, fair play to Team GB,they couldnt do anymore and they gave their all.Thought the Aussies were there for the taking but no,so play-off it is then.
  6. I dont see anybody else who you could put into the GB team that would make it stronger,I hope they all have a great meeting, still cant see passed the Aussies though, whether they have Darcy or not.
  7. Its something that needs looking at for future years,as you say it only takes a team to lose a rider to injury and their chance is gone.
  8. Event 2 is far easier to predict than Event 1 IMO,Austrailia will win by as many as they want,GB will be a comfortable second, with the Czechs then the Germans bringing up the rear, though it might not be till the last couple of races where third and fourth are sorted out.
  9. I`d be confident that GB have every chance tonight, sadly the meetings tomorrow night, not so confident.
  10. Fairly decent meeting with the scores close throughout, going into the last race there was every possibility of a three man run-off,and what a race that wouldve been.
  11. Looking good for Denmark, but dont rule out the Ruskis,Poland looking weak on their own track.
  12. World Championchip speedway,go hard or go home,Fisher was hard in the first corner thats all.
  13. Agreed, how shocking it was of Fisher to make a good start and chase the dirt line.
  14. Event 1 Roman Povazhny Greg Walasek Rick Wells Michael Jepsen Jensen Event 2 Kevin Wolbert Ales Dryml Chris Harris Chris Holder
  15. Probably end up being forced to watch bloody Coranation Street.
  16. They`ll be easy enough to identify on monday, they will be the race suits behind the yellow ones.
  17. I think aljack would explode if Chris Louis signed up.
  18. If the riders are good enough it shouldnt make any difference what country they are from, and there most certainly not be some sort of quota system.
  19. But we can only go on Harris`s scores in the GPs,and they just arent good enough,he`s had more than one wild card pick now and it would be just plain wrong if he gets another and his non-qualification for the GP Challenge is case proven for me,Woffinden may get the nod,but as said in interview recently he`s unsure whether he`d take up a wild card should one be offered.
  20. A wild card pick must be out of the question for next seasons GPs surely,so its a top eight finish or nothing for Harris.Must admit Im finding it very hard to make a case for any Brit at present to be in the GPs next year. Sadly for Harris, hope is about all he`s got left.
  21. As I posted the kid is in two minds,in the Speedway Star interview he does seem unsure.
  22. Reading his interview in this weeks Speedway Star Woffindens clearly in two minds whether to take a GP wild card if one was offered indeed, one pick will go to Hampel and another to Darcy Ward should he make it known he wants to take on the GPs,that doesnt leave alot of room for a Brit.
  23. Harris has dined out on his one GP win for some time,if he qualifys as of right for next year, either by GP Challenge or top 8 finish, then fair doos,he will have earned another go at the GP series. But its out of the question for him to be considered for a wild card pick next year. On Woffinden, theres an article in this weeks Speedway Star with him,and he`s not excatly jumping at the prospect of wanting a GP wild card for next year.
  24. The odd one you can consider as bad luck, but with Harris its becoming a regular thing.
  25. Proposal three, you`ve long enough to post your selections,if you miss it you miss out. That`ll be me then, dont worry it wont happen again.
