And with no short term fix on the horizon it might get worse before it gets better,Morris & Vatcher are on the right lines hopefully with the younger riders,but the fruits of their labour could be years away yet.

Sad thing is IMO we dont have a rider who can compete at GP level at the minute,even a top eight finish would be out of the question.

Harris,at the GP level,just isnt up to it Im afraid,he certainly talks a good game but out on track against this kind of opposition he doesnt cut it. Woffinden was due to take part in the GP Challenge meeting at Berwick,that must be a big now he`s injured,so theres a chance of getting a wild card pick.Though to be frank,is Woffinden that much better than Harris at this level,it would be wrong IMO if the powers that be selected a Brit just so theres one in the GP series,when theres better riders around.

Im sure there`ll be something announced next week,or maybe put on the web-site before then,if its those prices is no to bad.As I said before it would be a nice return for Berwick if the place was packed out.

Good to see Liam Carr chipping in with a few points last night,on his NL debut for Stoke.This move for Carr is going to bring him on as a rider,ok he may struggle at times but overall this is a great move career wise.A season or two in the NL and hopefully he will be ready to step up to the PL.

That tash is a cracker isnt it. Pedersens good for the GPs and he`s good for speedway,and last night up to the semi-final he was the man on form,but that was a desperate move on Jonassan. Decent GP with some good racing,Pedersen looked the all on winner,as the others seemed to be taking points of eachother.Hancock mustve been surprised to get the inside gate,first semi,but fair play to Lindgren,kinda went under the radar for most of the meeting but got it right when it counted most. Apart from his last ride,Chris Harris is embarrassing himself in the Gp series so far.

Announced at Berwick last night that Ryan Fisher & Kenny Ingalls will be the 2 riders from the USA,also that Berwicks Lee Complin will be one of the meeting reserves as one of Olly Allen or Danny King has been put forward to one of the other qualifiers. While there were no specific figures announced,it was said last night that programme and admission prices will rise for this meeting,Berwick have little or no say in setting these prices,but IMO it would be very sad if the FIM or BSPA set daft admission prices and price people out of coming,the Berwick promotion have spend the money and put in the effort,they deserve a good crowd.

Tai Woffinden has posted on Twitter there he might be out for as much as 12 weeks,making it very unlikely we will be seeing him at Berwick.

Might be a race against time for Tai Woffinden if he`s to make Berwick,after breaking his scaphoid.

Your right,think back to a time when speedway wouldve killed for the kind of coverage we have today.Be grateful for what we have,speedway needs Sky much more than Sky needs speedway,lets just get on with it and enjoy.
