  1. Seems a no brainer for me. There must be a rider out there somewhere that can come into the team.
  2. The difference being of course is that he flew into Germany so I am guessing their restrictions allow that. Just now our restrictions don't but as I`ve posted the Garcia situation needs sorting.
  3. You get the feeling if the restrictions aren't lifted Poole could be the next club to put a hold on their season. https://www.bournemouthecho.co.uk/sport/19369198.ford-confirms-pirates-made-hefty-loss-first-home-meeting/?fbclid=IwAR3yTGIKGaKwZqlBI0bWlhbC8aoNVMeSwWp7LPh0dvvrUGoCdd5uUzP4Sk8
  4. I see that, he was using bikes Nico Covatti who was also at the meeting it seems. The Garcia situation needs sorting as it seems he wont be anywhere near Berwick anytime soon.
  5. Hearing that Leon Flint has picked another guest booking, this time in the Premiership for Wolves in their match with Peterborough at EoES tomorrow.
  6. We all know the weakness in the Berwick as it the same weakness we have had over the last two or three season. Whether it will be addressed is another matter, home defeats leads to disillusion in the fan base and then dwindling crowds. I`m sure there will be a charm offensive this week from the official site, even anyone actually reads that anymore, but another home defeat to Glasgow could be to much for some.
  7. I think Berwick now have two free weeks before they tackle Glasgow on the 28th, if there is to be a team change then now seems as good a time as any. Where the rider or riders come from I am not sure, the situation with Garcia needs addressing though as there is no sign he is going to get the green light to fly over here.
  8. If young Carlos flew in from Argentina then I am not sure why Fernando Garcia cant make his way over to ride for Berwick.
  9. Leon Flint has picked a guest booking today for Glasgow in their away meeting with Redcar.
  10. Carlos Eber Ampugnan. Is this rider based in Europe, Argentina is on complete lock down I thought.
  11. Redcar came through their meeting at Glasgow last night with no injuries so teams remain as above, and no issues with the weather. https://www.bbc.co.uk/weather/2655819 Looking ahead to next weeks meeting, it looks like Berwick will be without Danny Gappmaier as he has been named in a SGP Qualifier in Terenzano Italy.
  12. Fair comment, but while Cook has sort a decent living in the Championship and Premiership, Bewley has moved on and made himself a better rider.
  13. As I posted earlier jumping from Championship reserve to Polish League 1 is a big step, but that can only be good for Leon.
  14. So Leon gets his first ride, made a bit of a jump at the start for which he received a warning and came in last, hopefully team manager Cieslak will give him another go.
  15. As most will know Leon Flint has been named in the ROW Rybnik team today at No8, the link to the meeting is here, its starts at 3-30pm http://spedway.ucoz.lv/ http://www.maniak.tv/mk7 http://www.drhtv.com.pl/drhtv-4.html
  16. http://www.wolverhampton-speedway.com/news.php?extend.3349
  17. To be honest I wouldn't take to much notice of any match report on the official site.
  18. Something tells me your going to regret this, now we can either keep coming back to this post every time Leon knocks in another good score or we can sit back and let Leon himself make a bit of a fool of you.
  19. It very telling about the Berwick team when our reserves are top scoring, excellent performance from them both. Take away their three race wins and our top four only managed two beteen them.
  20. Everyone did very well last Saturday to get all the races in before the curfew, especially with both teams in the Championship match running R/R.
  21. Standard Berwick away, in the meeting until the closing stages and then collapse, we don't have riders who are capable of winning heats thirteen and fifteen on a regular bases in tight meetings.
