Jordan Jenkins We have received a little criticism for not keeping you advised of the situation following Jordan's wrist injury at the weekend. The reason for this is simple we wanted to provide you with honest facts rather than hope, rumour and conjecture. This is how we want to run the club and will continue to do so in this manner. Following a visit to speedway injuries specialist Brian Simpson today we are now in a position to update you and it good news thankfully. Following his crash at Redcar the position was not initially looking good and it did seem likely that Jordan may miss 4 to 6 weeks of our season, Such was the situation we spent the whole weekend looking to bring in a replacement for our captain for this expected period. Despite numerous phone calls to riders who for a variety of reasons were unable to come on board , although in some case they really would have liked to, we went into Monday a rider short. We then received some great news from Jordan on Monday afternoon following a visit to the hospital, the injury to his wrist was not as bad as first felt and he had good movement in the wrist. Jordan advised us that he would be seeking support and advice from Brian Simpson today so we decided to wait until then before updating you. We have spoken to Jordan in the last half hour and it is all systems go for Friday in the British U21 Final and on Sunday for us versus Kent. We are over the moon that Jordan will be with us as we will be missing Jason Edwards after Eastbourne moved a fixture from 11th July (Euro's Final day) back to this Sunday afternoon. We have booked Fen Tigers favourite Connor Coles to cover for Jordan and will issue, as normal, the full pre meeting press release in the next 48 hours. Oh and finally another good piece of news, it's sunny for Sunday As always thank you for sticking with us through a difficult period with the weather and the ongoing Covid issues this season, it really is appreciated and we look forward to seeing you all on Sunday

Update from my crash last night: I was exposed to a violent crash last night in the Polish extra league I was unconscious and slept on the spot after hitting the fence at a strong speed, I first started and mumble a little after a few minutes said my team mate kenneth Bjerre who was also with the crash, so the light was completely off I only remember just the crash before I hit the fence with my head and body and from there I don't remember anything until I'm on my way to the hospital in an ambulance, I've had my whole body scanned and nothing am broken but I have a lot of pain all my body such as the neck, head and shoulder and stomach I have an internal blood collection on my liver that I have to pay a little attention to if there is severe pain. I have discharged myself even though the hospital thought I should lie overnight for observation. I just arrived 5 hours later to Berlin airport, where I fly back to my girlfriend in Spain where we start looking at new apartments. I think the next week's time goes with pain and restitution But with such a violent crash I have to look positively at the situation because it could have gone really wrong Taken from Nicki Pedersen`s Facebook.

The way we`re going with the rules that could happen this season. -
Gave up on that some time ago, awful match reports and previews, and any club news is either irrelevant or out dated

Have you add your apology.

Posted by Leon Flint on his Facebook page, sadly we cant have seven Leon Flints. Other riders are yet to comment. Literally couldn’t sleep last night after what happened yesterday. It simply just isn’t good enough and all I can do is apologies. Few weeks now to go back to the basics and sort it out and think what we need to do to come back stronger. -

Then as you said earlier, you wonder what he was watching. -
Unfortunately Jordan Jenkins looks set for a spell on the side-lines after fracturing his wrist in a crash at Redcar last Friday.

Do you think these are Gary`s original comments or what the author of the match report thinks he would say. -

Track was very slick, and no amount of water they dump on it hit helped. Surely though we must have riders who have the knowledge and experience who can make the necessary bike adjustments to get them out of the starts which they seemed incapable of doing last night. -

Make no mistake about it from a Berwick point of view last night was as bad as the score suggests, it was un-professional, and totally un-acceptable for this team to represent the people who turned up last night and turn in a performance like that. Thing is does any of us believe we have a team manager or a promotion who will leave the riders in no doubt that there can be no repeat of that performance in future, now I have been onto our wonderful website but I am guessing it will be usual clap trap about forgetting tonight, turning over a new leaf, moving on etc, there may even be a snide comment about Edinburgh using Drew Kemp as guest as there was on here the other day and again on the parade last night. Face Berwick Edinburgh used the rules to their advantage just as Berwick did with the Garcia/Anderson saga, the original hokey cokey signing, he`s in then he`s out then he`s back in again. Most worrying of all is that most of us saw this coming and I don`t see last night being our last home defeat. I will exempt Leon Flint from criticism as he has carried the team for most of the season, and on last night Danny Gappmaier. Even Aaron Summers, who has has his critics on here which I understand, has the decency to win 50% of our race wins which wasn't difficult as Berwick only had two race winners all night. Take nothing away from Edinburgh, they were excellent, when a good team riding well comes to a poor team riding as Berwick did last night then this is what happens. -

Those of a nervous disposition might want to take a night off from this forum. -
Standard Armadale performance, good showing from new signing Anderson.
-
Probably the same interpretation that saw Berwick replace Coty Garcia with Kasper Anderson, only for him to be replaced by Coty Garcia so Berwick were able to get R/R last week. Now back in comes Anderson to replace Garcia.
