I couldn't see fully from where I was stood to be honest, but seemed similar to the first start, I don't think there is a rule on the number of all four backs you can have. Trying to keep all 4 in a race especially on the first bend should always be the target. There was definitely not enough in it to exclude anyone. I didn't think there was any contact from Lindgren, unlike the first time, but there certainly wasn't much room for Kurtz and as the shale had been thoroughly drenched I couldn't see how he had a chance of staying up. I thought the first time Lindgren caught him which was a domjno effect but second one nobody touched him. I agree always better to have 4 in a race. Yes I think Belle Vue got away with one, should have been a Birmingham victory but lost it in the early races and gave themselves too much to do added to Sam and his inept tactics. This is part of the problem at Perry Barr, the racing lines vary from meeting to meeting, which means the home riders have to find the right set up from meeting to meeting, but it is primarily a gaters track if you don't gate at PB your in trouble from the off. Nigel Tolley said they were going to improve the banking on bends 1 & 2 during the last close season but it doesn't appear to have been done, even if they were to make Perry Barr some sort of trick track that would be better than what they have now which currently helps away riders just as much as the home riders, and for sure it does not encourage much passing..
