LisaColette
Was wondering why it was moved. Glad it was, want to see 2 full teams. 📆 Stellar Monarchs can confirm the rescheduling of the upcoming away match at Poole Pirates from Wednesday 23rd July to the new date of Wednesday 16th July. The club wish to sincerely apologise to all fans who had planned to attend the original date and thank Poole for accommodating the change to avoid a clash with Swedish Bauhaus League fixtures which would have seen Victor Palovaara and Jonatan Grahn missing the match. Bitza
I Googled groin injuries and it seems apparently that the recovery time is 1-2 weeks for a minor strain, and weeks for more serious conditions. Of course this isn't in any way actually based on Anders situation, but it doesn’t really suggest that his injury is going to be insignificant. As has been said elsewhere I hope it's only a strain and not a tear. The latter might need an op if it can't be 'managed'?!
Bitza
Well personally my only experience of a groin injury was with a very nice lady in Bangor, well I say injury it was more of a nasty little rash.

A tear can be fixed with an injection and they say at least two weeks rest after it but recovery to ride a speedway bike would probably take a fair bit longer. szkocjasid
Has Darryl Ritchings ridden himself out of a team place? When he's replaced at Poole he'll have a 2.35 average. Any team who wants to replace a 2.00 rider will have to be under the limit. Perhaps Darryl should've asked to be dropped after 5 matches? It would be different if he rode all of Poole's 10 matches of course, but signing for 6, instead of putting himself in the shop window, could have done the opposite! Berwick have space in place of Dayle Wood, Plymouth could replace trigger but can’t see that so space very limited, would be Ashame as he defo deserves a space. scottyfan
What’s the betting he won’t be fit to ride on Wednesday against Glasgow. Was hoping to see him ride in the Harbour Masters meeting and he was unfortunately injured 3 days beforehand and now it looks as though he may not ride next week either, my only two visits to Wimborne road this year so far, both mainly to see him ride……. Get well soon William.
