SteveLyric2 Posted yesterday at 12:07 PM Report Share Posted yesterday at 12:07 PM Both Poole and Redcar websites have the KO Cup meetings on 5th and 8th Oct respectively. BSPL have not updated their fixture list yet - possibly because the office is involved in big meetings taking place in Rugby at the moment apparantly!?

BSPL had updated the website with an article and KO Cup fixtures listed. But this as since been taken down. Website reverted back to play off fixture on Sunday and no fixture next Wednesday 🫣 Edited yesterday at 12:34 PM by lbw

Oxford don't have anything else if they got through so it would have been easier. So you are saying we should be racing Oxford as they don't have any fixtures planned? At that rate lets race Plymouth or Scunthorpe.

Not sure what Plymouth or Scunny have to do with it, they weren't in the SF. Edited 20 hours ago by LisaColette 1

Often happens the best teams play in cup and playoffs so there is regular fixture congestion

Easy solution strict time limit on rain offs replays ( even if it means missing riders).Teams are now racing about 14 fixtures in 6 months it’s pathetic they can’t fit them in.IMO.

Doubt that would happen, there has been meetings in October as far as I can remember, used to be a Oct 31st cut off which was adhered to as I can remember going to a meeting on a Sunday at Poole that normally would have been rained off but they did sort it out after the rain had stopped and the meeting was run. They would not do that now as they can run meetings in November if needed.

As it is a extra competition as most meetings were contested early season then it is fair to say the semi final and final should have been completed ages ago.
LisaColette
Common sense by BSPL. Playoffs should be prioritised.

SteveLyric2
Wow, confusion and mixed messages at the BSPL!! who would have thought it?! So Poole complete their league fixtures by the original cut-off date and now get 'penalised' by not having their entitled choice of second leg at home in both play-offs and KO Cup!! Yes whoever has been updating fixtures on the website is really struggling at the moment! Currently Redcar v Glasgow (BSN) and v Poole (KOC) same time same date! The BSPL website has indeed been changed again but it is now showing Glasgow (BSN) once more on 10 October and no mention of Poole (KOC)! I wonder how many more attempts they will need?
