Believe that's a fair assessment i.e. with those 3 signings we would have every expectation of reasonable success this year, particularly as we expected Kye & Paco to up their game due their experience of the track.  Due to how things are working out just now and with Justin clearly below par with his wrist injury we are collectively not performing as we had hoped.  Losing Max our 2 pointer was completely unexpected ( as was with Oscar) so changes are inevitable anyway.  Just a question of far the management feel they have to go to get back on track to where we need to be ( and who is likely to be available at this stage of the season ).

Few different ways they can go about it averages changing at the end of the month.

How can Polis just decide he doesn’t fancy riding in the UK, leaving Edinburgh snookered?

Doesn’t speedway’s governing body - FIM, I believe - hold riders accountable for this sort of unprofessionalism?

Totally agree. Hopefully some riders become/are available and willing. Things can change throughout the season so who knows.

SCB have issued him a 28 day ban, not that it makes any difference cause can still ride anywhere outside the UK.

I was hoping Edinburgh would make a run for the playoffs this season, and I did like the look of the guys they'd brought in. It's a shame it's not working out at the moment.

While I agree what Polis did was very wrong & out of order towards the Monarchs. How can you have a punishment for a rider but not a team. Sam Hagon, Bastien Borke & Danyon Hume all dropped after riding a couple of fixtures.

If a rider can be let go at the drop of a hat, why can't riders leave clubs giving the same "lack of notice".

Not that I think this would be a strong team, more a case of riders willing to ride in Britain. Would wait till Palovaara was about to move out of the reserve berth if making these changes though.

Good point, personally I'd give Connor Coles a go, who's available under 6.96? Jonas Jeppesen, Matthew Wethers, Thomas Jorgensen, Claus Vissing?
