szkocjasid
I notice they didn't announce Ben Cook as their "new number one" maybe thought people wouldn't praise the signing as much knowing he's at 1?

Only meetings I can potentially see KL losing at Home are against Ipswich but I'd fancy Ipswich to win at least 75% of their regular league fixtures next season. I totally understand the top end power opinions away from home but compare it to Sheffield for example who've got top end power but offers nothing when it comes to the tail end which only levels itself out imo. Not sure you see the real benefit of a strong reserve when you build strength in depth with all riders (bar the rs) of a similar standard. If Harris ends up having seven rides, then he’s replacing someone in the 1-5 of a similar standard who isn’t doing the job they’ve been brought in to do to make a strength in depth team work. It’s going to be interesting though to see them up against the others who have been built top heavy to see which strategy pays off. If Kvech does jump to 1 and does a number 1’s job there which he looks talented enough to do, then who knows!

Don't think you will be disappointed with Ben, and he rides the Kings Lynn track well

Scored 7+1 one visit with Ipswich this season, his previous three visits have all been paid double figure scores and two of those were in his dreadful 2023 season with Sheffield. For a 5.5 middle order rider, that’s a good record. Paid 8 and three paid double figure scores in his last four visits, and he’s FIFTH in our averages.. Have to be targeting two league victories there.
Gavan
Average side with 2 second strings riding at 1 and 5 Might get in the play offs but at the tail end of a meeting with Doyle Emil Bewley Kurtz Holder and Tai they will be found wanting

Solid but average ….. though with the teams Lynn have had recently this one looks pretty good compared to those …. Big reliance on Iversen and Klindt for me as they will need to cover the weakness of the top
