So somebody needs to be ready to slide into that position… seems like this could be a trial!

Heard the same comment before this year, but the RS system continued. Not popular with some on the forum, but I don't hear the clubs themselves arguing against it (unless I've missed that). ShanoXtra Posted yesterday at 09:08 AM Report Share Posted yesterday at 09:08 AM Farewell to Emil ?!?!?!? Could this season be the last of Emil in Ipswich? With 3 wildcards, and the possibility of them rising to 4, will łaguta and Emil finally get a spot back in the SGP? I know that SGP wanted them back in after listening to Emil speak but it’s 1 person on the FIM board who wasn’t allowing it. If Emil does get into the GP will he drop Ipswich to focus on that? It’s bad timing for Ipswich as I also believe he is on a 3 year work visa which either runs out at the end of this year or must be renewed, I also know the renewal cost is about £5,000. I sincerely hope not, but if he lifts the trophy this season, his job might be done.

Even if he gets a wildcard which I would think it’s highly unlikely he may well decline the invitation. it costs a lot of money to ride in the gp if you are not in the top 6. Age is now against him too

I’m still not convinced the league structure in the uk next year will allow his return. Having said that if the structure does & his schedule allows I’m convinced we’ll see Emil back again. I’m not convinced he would rider anywhere else in the uk either.
TTT
If Emil wants to return and Ipswich are forced to choose between Doyle and Emil then Chris Louis will have a problem. Do you stick with Doyle knowing that he'll always be willing to ride for Ipswich for the rest of his career which gives Ipswich a guaranteed No.1 for however long Doyle's career lasts for. or Do you opt for the better rider currently in Emil but knowing it maybe a short term No.1 for a year or two but run the risk of Doyley knowing that he's second best to a point where he might not return to Ipswich a couple of years down the line if asked to. As much as I'm a massive Emil fan, I'm choosing stability all day long in Doyle.
cowboy cookie returns?
With Jenkins making his comeback back at the weekend, do we reintroduce Jordan one Edward’s 28 day deal expires or has Edward’s done enough to keep his place?

I’d bring Jenkins back ASAP and let him be part of the team, IMO it will only feel right to finish the league how we started it and as must as we win together we also lose together as a team. Not last Monday he wasn't 🙈 clearly no where near upto his normal speed but all riders have bad nights at least it came now and not play/offs Bewley was extremely fast in 13 / 15 and super heat it's all on the night anything can happen 🙈 Ipswich won fair and square you can argue certain situations about riders missing etc result was what it was looking like Ipswich will finish top and Aces 4th 🤔 a lot will depend on tonghts Aces/ Sheffield and the bonus point 🤔

It does make the racing more interesting than the Ekstraliga at the moment that's for sure! Tonight should be another close match. I'd agree with that, Jenkins did well enough to regain his spot for the rest of the season. Plus Edwards would have had opportunities for a full time spot elsewhere rather than a temp spot at Ipswich. Edwards would be a good choice of RS guest in the play-offs if needed (by any club).
