Spot on....

Especially following a team that has had regular success over the last few years...

It could get "boring" being so successful....

And another potential impact to crowds is having so many high profile non Aces meetings chosen to be held there due to the entertainment level the track provides..

Meaning their fans forking out for so many major international and domestic meetings to attend...

Plus of course being one of the very few top tier teams to run a development team season after season...

Much better maybe to run just one team, using talent that has been developed elsewhere,  and regularly coming close but ultimately failing to win the top prize, but bleating (every single season it appears), about being unlucky with injuries...?

:D

I didnt quite understand the chequebook speedway comment either when you look at the top two his own team have???

Aries makes a fair point here. There seems to be stick heading Ipswich’ way from all angles including posters making up complete lies about Ipswich fans claiming the title is already won which just didn’t happen. It’s all a bit weird to be honest.

The “Top Prize” which is utterly worthless and not worth winning according to you. Unless Belle Vue win it of course then you’re on here doing the Hokey Cokey 🙄

Your true colours showing backing your man with his trolling of one fan base. As I said before, you’re all cut from the same cloth. Horrible ‘kin lot.

So you generalize the whole fan base based on a couple of forum posts, could say the same about your "lot" given you are backing your own troll

Of course it is a major sporting championship that is worth winning...

A fact clearly proven last night by an Ipswich rider being the second highest scorer for Oxford...

:D

so you can dish it out but cant take it.

Fact alert to drive the trolls mad. Insults incoming no doubt.

With the amount of guests this league uses the best way of judging performance at home is by using the stats excellently compiled on the BSPL website.

2024 home.

Aces 46.82

Witches 48.74

One is higher than the other.

Aces must be a team of one track throttle jockeys as they averaged a poor 9.32 less away last season whereas Ipswich brilliantly only averaged 9.24 less away.

oh theyve started already, and then were either deleted by the user or the mods, but i definitely saw the unwarranted insults.

What baffles me is they have a pop at Jaimon for only being good at the NSS when the difference between his home and away average is less than Adam & Danny’s, using the 2024 stats. The same Adam & Danny produced (supposedly) by the great Ipswich conveyor belt.

Jaimon -1.92

Danny -2.04

Adam -2.63

They then go on about Tom with information we already know as we took him from last pick RS to 6+ main team member. He rides five meetings as a witch and all of a sudden they try and claim the glory. It beggars belief.

They must know all this so why post if it’s not trolling?

I’m guessing reading isn’t your strong point and certainly a lack of knowledge of what a troll is ….

Where has any Ipswich fan took credit for Tom Brennans progress? Lies my friend to fit your anti Ipswich agenda

And if you want to compare apples and oranges then go ahead … Lidsey is a heat leader …. King and Ellis are not so you may as well compare Lidseys average with Thompsons to suit your narrative

Lidsey is a good steady rider who can beat the best at home …. But ask most fans who they would prefer as a third heat leader and I’m sure they would go Tom

I ask you again and this time try and answer like an adult…. How many teams would sign Lidsey and Blordorn? Not many on my opinion

I’m confused by your response

I merely asked if other clubs would sign Lidsey or Blodorn or rather have Tom

I understand you backing your rider of course i do …. It’s a forum it’s called debate or is that missing in Manchester?

As a number 2 King is probably the best in the league…. Unless you take Erik Riss score the other week at face value …. Becker and Klindt are solid scorers in that position too

Ellis had a poor half a season at Sheffield but as a second string id have him over Zach Cook… Iversen…. Howarth … Kildemand and Rew .. though I think Pickering at Sheffield is a better rider.

Bit of a memory issue?  Both Adam and Jason have been part of title winning teams with Swindon!

Birmingham & Oxford for a start.

Keeping them away from riding at 3 or even 5 would still have been the issue for both these teams...

Ipswich have both these "very decent" riders riding at 2 and 4, a perfect position for both...

Yep I think the reason they are so strong both on paper and on track is that you could make a strong argument that they have the best rider in the league for most positions in the team and there not be much in it for the positions they aren't. As I've said before they are top heavy and solid all at the same time.

Not particularly looking forward to May 5th in all honesty!

My only knowledge of trolls is on here and I wouldn’t call myself an expert.

You came over all Johnny big bol*^%# when mentioning Tom, if I read it wrong, I apologise.

Jaimon finished 4th in our averages last season and I feel comparing him to Danny (3rd) and Adam (5th) when discussing riders who “can only ride well at home”, is valid.

I’d have kept Tom but unfortunately I’m not the team manager.

I honestly think ever team in the league would take Jaimon and Norick. Ipswich & Sheffield are maybes where the numbers would have to stack up but the rest, definitely.

Norick, as the youngest 1-5 team member at 20 with over 3 years experience in the top division, would have no problem getting a team place. Indeed only last year Kings Lynn asked him to ride for them when he took a guest booking. Speaking of guest bookings, Jaimon top scored at number one for an away team last year (just 9 meetings ago). That team was IPSWICH.
