but as usual discovery couldn’t catch an atmosphere if they tried,

Not helped by Tatum & Louis commentating from the UK. And as good as rider as Hancock may have been, for me, he ain't cut out for punditry.

That’s fair and I respect that, this forum is for everyone’s opinion, I’d never say who is right or wrong, just put my opinion on here that’s all.

Doyley came across from gate 3 and made contact with Fricke off 1, it looked like Fricke may have caught a groove going into turn 1 that may have sent him slightly wider than he wanted to go, the contact sent Doyle into the fence and then drew Fricke even wider.

So some feel the need even without clarification of official or factual input to still post on hearsay...nothing more than attention seeking, each to their own and all that. Ohh the horses are calm, that is based on fact not hearsay!

So when they announce the race times over the tannoy that’s to be considered hearsay?

Relaying the official word at the stadium to fans back home is perfectly acceptable and should be encouraged. Reposting the opinion of Karen from Skegness is not.
Fingers crossed for Jason one the true ambassadors of the sport and a supporter of UK speedway. Top bloke as well.

do you honestly believe that they could make a medical decision and announce it before Jason had even left the track/stadium??....I would bet my last bottom that no medical person would of relayed that or indeed one of Jason's "camp" would of.

As for comparing it to race times, you have let yourself down trying to use that as a comparison.

Just read a official press release by the Ipswich Witches, Jason had dislocated his hip(put back in yesterday) and sustained a cut to his face, hoping to leave hospital tomorrow.

Yeah the cut was from his peak on his helmet I think. If this is true then that's good news, although a dislocation is painful!!

I picked heat times to be representative of anything the officials put out on the tannoy. You can only take the official line at face value and I think any fan relaying that information should not be berated but encouraged. Fans quoting what officials have to say from trackside to those of us not there should not be labelled as attention seekers imo.

There's a world of difference between heat times and a diagnosis of a injured rider...and it has transpired were pure and utter fabrication.

Hancock is a terrible pundit.IMO

Surprised he makes it to every GP with the splinters in his backside, the bloke never gets off the fence. Too scared to upset any of his buddies it would appear.

The rest of them aren't great either, though. Chris Louis is superb as a co-commentator to fill the gaps, but Kelvin probably isn't a natural lead commentator (albeit not forgetting the sad circumstances as to why he's there).

The whole thing needs a new lease of life I think. The fanzone yesterday was exactly the same as it was when we went to a GP years ago. Do people really want to watch trials bikes and meet a giant mascot? Surely there has to be something more engaging? Same applies for the coverage.

Great ride from Kubera but 6 points and in the final? It's madness.

To be fair he did finish 8th so would have been in the semis if we were using last years format, just a few riders scoring all the points

I must admit, I just assumed he must've finished 10th on 6 points. Only once before can I remember 6 points being enough for the top 8.
