StarBoy
No lineups declared for this one yet, with Gilkes and Howarth being doubtful for Leicester and B Cook still on the sidelines for Lynn. With only Birmingham not riding guest selections for both teams will be sparse. Leicester will probably use Voulas/Castagna for Howarth and Joe T for Gilkes. Not sure what the play is for Lynn, do they go R/R again and hope Klindt doesn’t tail off as he did at Ipswich (space out his rides more), or try and tempt Rew for a guest booking? tellboy
J.Thompson for Gilkes,R/R for Cook.
40-38
https://www.leicesterspeedway.com/News/Details/5769 Full preview from the Lions website here, but the short details are as @tellboy posted above. Sounds like Howarth OK to ride and Joe Thompson is probably the best choice whilst Gilkes is out.

Teromaafan
Not necessarily a straightforward home win. The performance of Klindt will be key. Looking at the R/R options, he will be taking seven rides and normally goes pretty well around Leicester.

IainB
The track is so slick that the tractor is wheel spinning as it tries to go up the banking on turns 1 and 2 😂
Daniel Smith
So far, as warned, this King's Lynn team is pretty much dead once Harris moved up from No6 to No1. There needs to be a (obviously impossible to find) proper No1 in this team ASAP or any Play-Off hopes will be lost. Absolutely shouldn't be getting humped like this by this Leicester side, even away from home.

I think they are already, may as well just ride the play offs now to be honest and get it over with.

IainB
Anybody know who's done the ditties they play over the pa? They're pretty catchy in a kind of cheesy eurovision ai kind of way 🎶🎶🎶
Weeyin
Stewart said on bsn that he set the track for home advantage as the Lions had to win, was way to slick for the stars and a borefest for tv, especially after the excitement of the British final

I’m sure Mr Dickson will consult him prior to the next time Bomber is back riding for the Stars and every other team in the league on his returns to the venue. Whilst I’m still a big fan of Bomber and love watching him race, he should be above making comments about track prep criticism for someone of his ability at this stage of his career.
