Laguta & sayfutinov wouldn’t make any difference sadly 🙈

Maybe yes, maybe no, but I think the point the chap was making is that he, and I, would be more confident of a good race with Emil and laguta next to Zmarzlik than seeing kvech or huckenbeck.

Phil morris loosing his s**t at the poles for bringing flares 😂

As flares are banned in stadia in the UK, i'm not surprised. If you are found using or carrying one at a football match it generally means imprisonment or suspended sentence along with a ban from attending matches for 3yrs after. So its poor security checking people on the way in. Say instead of flares it had been a bomb, Speedway would be making headlines all over the World for the next week. If you need to take a bag you should expect to be emptying it for checks at a seperate entrance, people will then learn not to bring the bloody things. I go to a lot of gigs and the amount of people who try and get in with a rucksack like they're heading for a week in the Lake District is incredible, also at most 500 or more capacity venues you get frisked and the metal detecting wand. Some big Stadium gigs they have airport style security, everything out of pockets etc and walk through detectors. I felt like Derek Smalls from Spinal Tap when they found it was the pulltab on my fly zip setting the machine off.

Would Emil and laguta challenge this year.

going off there season form they would be no where near

You don’t know though it’s all opinions. What is fact is that Emil lowered Zmarzlik colours this year a few times in Ekstraliga. So he is capable, and Huckenbeck doesn’t even ride in Ekstraliga, so work that one out.

Nope neither of the Russians can cope with the King. Polish averages again prove that again in 2025.

Laguta coped with him in 2021, and it's a big shame that he has never had the opportunity to defend his world title on track. We will never know if he would have won another, but he clearly had the speed and talent to get the job done.

There is no one in the current line up that even comes close at the moment...

Comments like this are so stupid. So if you go off Polish averages why don’t you just have Zmarzlik and 15 British championship riders in the SGP and give up by your logic? To challenge you need a one off good night. You don’t need to be top of the averages in the Polish league do you. Zmarzlik is the top rider and everyone agrees with that it’s not even in doubt, but you need guys who can beat him on a track to be in the SGP which the Russians have. Not BS riders in the Grand Prix just because its brings a different demographic.

"way up", how. much up do you reckon....in numbers?

To my eyes, Friday looked almost full, agree not full, but not far off.

The crowd on Sat was 5,999 according to SGP latest news. Friday was a few hundred less I’d assume as the temp stands on the ends were not full.

Don’t know if you noticed but the poles are not usually trying to blow us up, flares are banned but 30 FT away from supporters there are flame throwers shooting flames up in the air, it’s just health and safety crap spoiling people’s enjoyment, some pole brought one to the Birmingham v Ipswich match at Perry Barr, it livened up the meeting seeing the staff having a meltdown, life is too short, might take some myself when I’m next at belle vue

Belle Vue fans had flares at our last two play offs wins, I see flares at Man City games on a regular basis, banned or not people find a way of getting them in, and it's not hiding them in bags 🤣

The Poles may not be the type to want to blow us up, but say somebody was ?

Also you'll find people with some illnesses don't think the flares liven up the meeting, while they try and cough their lungs up.

One of those people is my disabled son who was right next to the flares last night and he loves it

I agree i love em, the poles with the flares were stood near me last night and it was great to see, no issues, no safety concerns from me.  The Poles really do make a fantastic atmosphere at meetings.  Long live the flares

I went to a Katie Hopkins stand up show last month, not really a fan but it was very funny and very offensive but on the way in we were searched and there was an old guy infront of me well into his 70s who when searched had a large flick knife, when the security asked him about it he just said in a matter of fact way well you never know what nutters are out there, anyway they took it off him much to his displeasure

In the grand scheme of things, for our premier event that embarrassing, Bydgoszcz will get more than that in their 2nd division match against tarnow this afternoon
