It has certainly helped massively having him at reserve, but it hasn’t been the case in every meeting. He missed Berwick away and only scored 9 at Plymouth and Glasgow (SC). The team was built to have a strong reserve and whilst Jonatan won’t score the same, we will have a better balance to us.

It shows how well Palovaara is going to see a comment like "he only scored 9 points"!

If Monarchs can get a decent replacement for Polis ( don’t know where though) they are not a bad Team in this League.IMO

Need a solid number 7

Mpt coming in on a 7.80 average what does that leave for a no7

Tom Spencer is available on a 2.00. Looked decent for Redcar. It was a bit of a harsh move by the Bears dropping him as he hadn't done anything wrong.

I stand by what I said, my point was that Parker is far from Champ standard & I couldn't believe there weren't stronger options available for the team?

That is where I felt Monarchs weren't giving their all, for example I could never imagine a team like Poole with their winning mentality, settling for a 3.00 NL reserve in their team.

Parker did exactly what I expected, only beat a non-finisher. Well done to Mark for doing that though.

Delighted for the middle order pairing, feel some of the criticism they've received has been too harsh. Two good scores against weaker opposition, can they continue against the leagues stronger sides?

Like I’ve already said Mark is only in for the Workington matches that’s it, Mark also knows this. We only needed someone to fill the whole for the weekend as the factory was up for Max.

So your pound is irrelevant.

Well Mark Parker is still in the team, despite you saying he was only in for the Workington matches!

Does that mean my pound (point) is relevant now?

I've said it before & I'll say it again, there has to be someone stronger than Parker willing to ride at reserve for the Monarchs. Especially now they're meeting 2 x 2.00 reserves against Glasgow! Marson, McGurk, Spencer?

They've announced MPT, but sticking with Parker at the moment!

He was, which was the original plan so your point is still irrelevant as he won’t be in the team come the next league meeting.

So hopefully Parker can score zilch and they will fit another rider in within the point limit.

So it's irrelvant MP is still in the team facing our local rivals over both legs of the KO Cup Quarter Final when the aggregate score could be very close? 🙄

Pretty sure Mark is fully aware of the circumstances.

So Mark Parker is still in the Monarchs team despite a couple of people seemingly adamant I was being foolish for my comments about his inclusion!

Is my point relevant now by any chance? Anyone care to admit they were wrong?

No cause someone was lined up to come in at reserve for after the Workington meetings. However they have since decided they don’t want to do it now hence why Mark is still there till a replacement is found.

Is Nagel still lined up for Glasgow as you previously posted? At that time you also said that you had tried to sign various overseas riders but they turned you down so its really sad you seem to have now been turned down by a 2 point Brit.

To be fair if the 2 point brit didn't think they were ready for the step up.....its not like there are many available options and Edinburgh are certainly on a limb geographically for several. Spencer is the highest NL averaged rider potentially available but hasn't set the season alight thus far, Ritchings could be a good option once he is released from Poole (although it won't be his only phone call) so there could be a bit of a merry go round.

Senna Summers has been filling his boots points wise this season (although against very average opposition) but still bettered Parker every time they met.
