Belle Vue v Ipswich Monday 30th June

Recommended Posts

Injuries, bike equipment issues etc. For me, still a poor performance from us. 14 points down isn’t good. I’m more concerned when Emil can’t beat Kurtz or Bewley and he is fully fit, Brennan not injured and isn’t up to the level of heat 13/15 and Doyle is just not there at the moment.

Ipswich to win imo,if Lynn only lost by 6 without the best reserve in the league at the time then Ipswich will go that bit better. You can't keep going on about a half fit team. They looked fine last week.

Yes they are half fit … look how Doyle and Thompson and Jenkins did against Leicester .. nowhere near there usual performance levels at home and tonight at Belle Vue they are off it again

I hope you don’t blame Kings Lynns defeat to Birmingham tonight on injuries then

BRILLIANT from Brady wow. Best top 2 in the league by a mile.

Yes they are the best top 2 they are 2 and 4 in the world …. Shame none of the others ride that well away from home means that over 2 legs you will come up short most of the time

Emil couldn't beat Jason Edwards earlier in the season at least he was competitive in every race today and looked decent yesterday against not very much.

Enjoyed tonight Dan and Brady are cheat codes around the NSS. Very much improved showing after last week vs K Lynn.

How is Paul Bowen still on BSN? Shame really BSN otherwise are doing a good job.

The Ipswich "NHS" Witches, must be very disappointed by that result.

A severely depleted Aces, yet no rider stepped up to support Emil...

The racing wasn't great, as some Witches fans have alluded to, however, like was said last week at Foxhall by the Witches fans...

You can only beat what is in front of you, and if the other team are poor then the racing suffers...

Nice to see Lidsey step up (again) when needed..

Three off Norick's rides was around three to four less than his usual scoring around the NSS, but the Witches couldn't take advantage..

I have a sneaky feeling Leicester could be the team to beat if the Witches horrendous injury list doesn't get sorted...

Are you from the Steve Shovlar school of trolling

Your heat leader trio will outscore our heat leaders fairly comfortably

I would imagine our 2 and 4 will outscore your 2 and 4 but not by many

Then yes our reserves on paper look stronger but both carrying injuries

Add in that Doyle and King are injured I will be happy to keep it to 10

Kurtz will get a maximum as his injury has pretty much made him invincible …. Only beat once or twice since it happened so certainly no excuses there

Wow look at my post from the other day

I think I got everything spot on

Heat leaders …. Correct

Second strings …. Correct

Reserves injured may hamper scoring … correct

Doyle injured…. Correct

Kurtz maximum …. Correct

See when you know your own club it’s not hard to predict how matches go …. Belle Vue fans not taking on board any thing Ipswich fans say … yet nobody could mention Kurtz the other week

Belle Vue heat leaders drop 2 points tonight ….
Doyle gets 3 and Dan T only 2

We only lose by 14 …. Even 7 from Doyle and 5 from Dan makes it a draw

If and it’s a big if we have a fit 1-7 we draw that match tonight …..over 2 legs and 2 teams with a fit 1-7 we don’t have anything to fear from Belle Vue

It’s all cool nothing is won until September…..so not to despondent.

We’ll get closer than that in the B fixture here. The reserves won’t have a night like tonight again. More than confident of beating anyone over two legs all things being equal.

Yes you was hugely depleted losing a rider who’s scored zero last time the teams met and his replacement got 3 lol

Glad you pay some acknowledgement to our unfit team

I thought we could keep it to 10 and would have been happy as your boys hate our place so yes 14 is a disappointment but with Jason and Dan T (mechanical as well as wrist ) having shockers it could have been much worse

I take heart that your heat leader can’t do much better yet we have 3 riders who can

It was game over as soon as BV got a 5 - 1 in Heat 2 tonight.

Dan Thompson had rotten luck with his bikes all night that didn't help, Just one of those days at the office.

Ipswich will still win the bonus point as BV will have a minimum of 4 passengers around Foxhall.

Must be awful to be that much of a pariah that you've had to resort to replying to your own posts in order to get a response.
