No it seems rules dont apply to everyone.

Barker and Bowtell recovered from injury which is good news. Kye is guesting, so same as last week, thought 8 day rule may apply but probably doesnt apply to your number one.

011.4.2 Guest Rider (G)

b) a rider may ride as a guest (in an official meeting) at a track only once in an 8 day period (within that league) excluding Play Offs, unless he is replacing the home teams #1 or is ONLY declared in a British Development League Team.

Not sure why guesting for a number 1 is different to everybody else, but 8 day rule does not apply for Klindt.

Yes I thought that so he got 8 last week against Workington and rest is the same except for Spencer so I expect Poole to be closer than Workington but not by much so fully expec to lose agg point

I won’t be home until 7.30-8pm. Question for the streaming boys. Can I buy a feed and start watching it from the start of the meeting? If not, can I watch it directly after it has finished?  Or is it live stream only and that’s it?

Hi Steve, I can confirm that you can watch the stream once it has finished, and you can also restart/rewind the stream whilst it is live.  HOWEVER, when you first go onto the stream it will start playing at that live point, so be aware and quick to make the rewind else you might see the score etc.  I'd log on with the volume down until you have restarted it.  Any problems hit the help button on the streams website page where one of the team are monitoring live to help.  Andy

Making my first ever visit to Plymouth for this one. Can somebody tell me, is there plenty of parking at the stadium or is it better to use the park and ride? Thinking about how easy it is to get out after the meeting, and also if I'll find my car covered in dust!

I'd get there early if you want to park next to the track its been rammed an hour before racing recently. The coypool park and ride car park is an easy 5 min walk and never any issues getting in and out.

Because when he has been unjustifiably missing Plymouth have not used a guest for him. Instead they have gone the "no facility" route which means a facility of a 75% guest.

Me thinks this would be better understood if the terminology wasn't so batrubbish contradictory!

I can't see anything in the Regulations that permits a club to just choose the 'no facility' route.

Does this mean they are applying to SCB for special dispensation each time,  and it is being granted?

I expect they are looking at the logistics of getting to an airport which has a flight to Poland (Warsaw probably) then a 31/2 drive to Poznan for a 12pm start (UK time)

I believe Ian B put a number of flight options on here which showed it was possible.

Nether the less, that would seem to indicate that SCB has been requested to permit the 'no facility' route, and approved it, because I can't see anything thing in the Regulations that permits it otherwise

Bit picky its not far out. Shame Scott hasnt had a better start or he would be above Nicolai.

Don't think it's anything to do with that, Nicholls only rode 1 match before the August averages were declared. If he scored a 15 max in every match since then, Nicolai would still be number one (till September).

It has been common practice for years for teams to make that choice.

I'll take your word Arnie.

I'm still not clear on how it operates though and under which Regulation.

Surely teams can't just make their own decision that one of their riders is not available and choose a 'no facility' guest.

Surely they have to apply for it and be approved by SCB on each occasion?

Does anyone know admission prices for Plymouth? There website doesn't say.

£20 in the Colin Hill Stand or anywhere apart from the NHS stand. £23 in the NHS seats on home straight. Students £10 and kids go free I think.

Car parking at Coliseum £2 and programme £3.

I think it works like this:

Rules state that for an unauthorised absence the replacement is a no facility guest [ i.e. 75% guest].

That is the default position.

What a club may then do is declare the rider to be withholding his services and only then do they become eligible for a 100% full fat guest, and as a consequence at that point the rider receives a ban.
