Can’t stand Tungate but that was farcical …. Was clearly asked to move over and did and gets excluded …. Wrong decision for me

Say it every meeting along with the GPs the commentary is truly awful. You can tell Tatum just turns up and wings it he has zero knowledge of modern day speedway aside from what is directly put under his nose.

... the neutral Start Marshal, with his Oxford cap on and an Oxford logo on the back of his onesie 😀

How about Klindt writing "must turn up to ride for Plymouth at some point" in his log book? 😂😂

Fully agree. What’s he supposed to do when he’s been moved by the start Marshall, not like he’s choose to move by himself he’s being forced.

Crazy from the ref really.

The bottom line is though he should have been at the tapes and found where he wanted start long before there was only seconds left on the clock.Too much faffing about riders watching the clock run down before they move forward.

What a night for Premiership Speedway! This must be the least competitive league I can ever remember in the UK! Embarrassing for a sport with a points limit in place to encourage equality

But he was forward and ready to start. The Marshall then told him he was too far over and made him move.

He waited till the last few seconds too come forward in that position though.Like I say too much faffing about. You could criticise the start marshal but he didn’t know where Tungate was eventually going to start from.

Stars 42 only 3 more points for victory says kelv

I liked the comment when he said the accumulative age of the three riders on the inside may add up to Bombers age. He's not in his sixty's

I'm almost certain that Peter Schroeck is a social experiment to see how inept a team manager can be before they get sacked. How can he genuinely stand there - with a smile on his face I'll add - and say the riders need to pull their fingers out but there's not much he can do about that.

It's quite amazing to watch as a neutral, probably not as fun for Oxford fans.

He was a pretty poor rider, rode for Eastbourne in the top league in his teenage years and scored 1 point from something like 14 meetings.

Sorry just checked, 1 from 15 rides in 7 meetings.

"The gates are pretty even at Oxford" says Peter Schroek. Not any time I've been watching they are not. It's a bit of an obsession of mine. I'm surprised it isn't more of a topic of conversation, it has a great deal to do with how the match unfolds.

Tonight over the first 14 heats (I count them at this point as every rider should have ridden on every gate by then, apart from changes):

Gates 1 and 3 54, Gates 2 and 4 30. That is not even! It's the way it usually is at Oxford as far as I can see. It SHOULD mean that matches are pretty close but the Oxford team are not good enough to take advantage as much as they should when on the better gates.

If it does go to one league, I don’t personally believe it should or it will, but if it does, Scotty deffo riding for Ipswich! And king, Jenkins, Thompson, maybe Ellis. So just need cover for Doyle and Emil 😂 just a small gap!
