Gerry Facenna in the Star this week talks about how the racing is paramount to the sports future success...

As it brings the punters back...

Preparing tracks just to win, and not to provide entertainment, is something he simply doesn't agree with...

He must come on here looking at the ideas he has to improve his business.......:D

Every team every year prepare their track for home advantage why wouldn’t you?

Clubs with great tracks can easily say it’s entertainment first because they will generate better racing that’s a given for them

But one million percent Glasgow make the track to Bombers liking

Trouble is if Ipswich put dirt down Bomber will love it but Lawson and Kvech are better on slick

Ellis does score big at Foxhall on occasions, you make it sound he does it all the time. Was it a 6 and a 5 against Lynn this season.Shouldn’t Ipswich be able to cover that?

He is 5th best at home this season, just where he is in the overall averages.

“Occasions” is selective. Look at his home average last year. Yes, he’s struggled everywhere this year in UK, until he’s found his USUAL Foxhall form in recent weeks. Let’s not pretend he’s not a miss here tonight telly 🙄

Belle Vue fans on here are quite comical …. Slagging off racing at every other track because theirs is the best and can’t actually see anything else

Stevie Wonder knows Belle Vue are worse at Foxhall than Leicester Sheffield and Lynn

what for racing..

A couple of times Harris has whinged on TV (TNT or BSN) about how badly he thinks a track has been prepared ... obviously that's coincided with him not having a great meeting. However, you wouldn't expect a rider with such huge knowledge and experience to not be able to adapt to differing conditions ...

Just so our Belle Vue friends know we have had passing in the following heats

1,3,5,7,10,11,13,14

As expected Kvech and Lawson scored better than Kurtz and Bewley at Foxhall

Trouble for Lynn was that the rest of Kings Lynn rode like Belle Vue …Iversen and Klindt decided to ride like Blodorn and Cook and Harrison looked as much out of his depth as Zischke and Harris matched Lidsey in being steady

Still when the big guns of Leicester and Sheffield come here we need Ellis back as our reserves are struggling at home and 3 points from r/r isn’t enough

Is Lawson able to guest if Adam not fit in play offs?

Guessing new averages for Sept, but atm he can only guest for Adam at Ipswich. Have to wait to see if that changes?

According to the BSPA averages after tonight,Lawson's average is too high even for the one at Ipswich.

Adam could be at reserve according to the averages on the British speedway website.

I think the Prem has the reserve situation spot on. But don't see why the top averaged rider has to go at number 1. Top two at 1 or 5 would be my preference.

Think you should have some scope to have your top 5 wherever you want.

Solid night’s work for the guys, no big guns in 15, got to give Brennan his dues he rode like a number 5 tonight and his bike was like a rocket! Edwards great battle to hold off Iversen in 8. Thompson looked more like his usual foxhall self in his first outing but tailed off. Emil and Doyle looked good without really needing to break a sweat. Picked up three points and move onto the next.

It certainly looks like it.They wouldn't get the extra 5% on his average for their home matches then, and would have to have a guest if he isn't fit.
