You and Shovvy should meet up before every meeting for a flat white as it is working wonders for the Pirates! Shovvy and LBW the best Poole double act since Holder and Ward! But I've got squeaky shoes! 😀

LisaColette
"We are surprised by the hostility shown towards our riders at the stadium. They received verbal abuse throughout the meeting by the fans near the pits. The atmosphere was extremely volatile. “We are also surprised by some of the tactics used with a win at all costs attitude. “For a club of Poole’s deemed stature, that’s very sad and we don’t believe that is acceptable or necessary." This from someone who has apparently sworn at fans in the past. Is he right or is it just sour grapes after leading halfway through the meeting? Lawson is unbelievable at this level this year hardly dropping points at all,we definitely needed that from Zach Cook last night and about time he knocked in a double figure score I feel like atm he is our 2nd heatleader with the way Rowe is and as for Kerr we all knew this would happen you just know in these big meetings something like this would happen cost us a top place in the BSN group with issues at Plymouth and Oxford, you could see in the pits Neil was fuming just before Kerr’s 2nd ride still not having his bike ready, there’s no way he’s at Poole next year. Thomsen,Cairns and Starke were all brilliant and that covered for the heatleaders a big team performance last night.

He should be reported/fined/disciplined for 'bringing the sport into disrepute' and encouraging a hostile atmosphere in the return leg, at which I hope they have a strong, fully neutral ref as they won't have the benefit of any TV/stream replays. 1

Steve Shovlar
Well as the away riders are on the back of the pits, not in any view or earshot of fans, I find this incredulous! I was in the pits until 7pm when fans leave and on the Glasgow side of the pits there were the usual autograph hunters and a few fans getting selfies. No issues whatsoever. Some of the tactics used? What, good hard racing? Very volatile? Just a great atmosphere with a noisy crowd. Possibly the best atmosphere this season. Me thinks it’s just a bit of sour grapes from Cami who is playing to the Glasgow fans. He should stop whining. They even had a Scottish ref! It’s far from over. Glasgow are good around their place. Would have preferred a bigger lead.

Would have preferred a bigger lead. I watched the Poole live stream and at one stage it was clear fans were having a go at Dan Thompson and his father on the way back into the pits. In addition to that, after Leon’s crash, Freddy Hodder was out on track to help him back in, on the way they both had a verbal altercation with Poole fans, I’ve no idea what was said but the Poole commentators both commented on it at the time. Solidmango
16 hours ago, foreverblue said: Well it looked like Zach came under him and Leon tried to cut back but Cook was already there. If Leon is correct about Cook's deflector catching Flint then that shows Zach was in front at the time. Doesn’t really matter who was in front at the time, you can’t ride through someone, Flint was in front entering the corner and (whilst the video evidence isn’t conclusive) if Cook came through and collected Flint on the way he should have been excluded.

Yes agreed but I think Flint tried to cut back and Zach was already there but the evidence is inconclusive. To be fair it probably could have gone either way. Dayle Wood was clearly taken down by Tobias Thomsen in Heat 6. “Richard Lawson went down on his own in Heat 10 after he missed the start but was allowed in the re-run. Fraser Bowes was knocked off by Paul Starke in Heat 11 and Leon Flint clearly knocked off by Zach Cook in Heat 14. “Every time this happened, Poole got a heat advantage in the re-run.
