I said it months ago but got shot down saying we are amazing at home… yet Leicester Lynn and Sheffield have done very well. We are looking one of the weakest sides in the play offs at the moment I would say. I don’t like the fact all season I hear “we need to all fire on the night and we are unbeatable”. The problem is, we never do, now Thompson is just as unreliable as Ellis and king, Edwards isn’t an improvement. We have a weak reserve pair at the moment.

Sheffield wanted to win more to get 2nd spot thus meaning home leg second leg against Leicester ….. absolutely nothing on this meeting for Ipswich except stay out of trouble 

No Ipswich rider tried when behind they didn’t need to

Let’s see if Ipswich win anything this season. There is a difference between doom and gloom and reality. If you are getting beaten at home then it’s not a good look. If it’s a nothing meeting then don’t expect fans to spend £24 to watch a training match. BS in my opinion. I’m all for Ipswich winning the title and I’d celebrate as much as the next guy, but just because I’m honest in my opinion when it’s against the team as well doesn’t mean it’s doom and gloom. 3 people…Emil, Doyle and Brennan won’t win you a meeting alone, I should know, I’m also a Gorzow fan 😂

Well, Sheffield deserved that. They looked hungrier and way happier on the very slick track than Ipswich. King was awful in his first two rides, Thompson has gone backwards at Foxhall and Edwards is not at this level. Hawkins howler not putting Ellis in in place of Edwards, Ht 12 I think. Holder made some good starts near the end Gate 2 was seemingly best. Ipswich will be nervous heading into next week.

Nothing meeting for Ipswich other than a chance to lower some of them averages and to test things ready for next week. 
 

whereas for Sheffield it meant a lot more wanting to get 2nd spot so they have the Thursday leg at home. And it shown. 
 

next week will be won or lost on Monday

Nobody making any comments about how it should have been Sheffield vs Belle Vue next week? Everyone knows Ipswich would have been beaten at Sheffield thus making the league :

1. Sheffield

2. Ipswich

3. Leicester

4. Belle Vue

Same circus as last year and same clowns involved.

Sheffield would have preferred us in play offs. So them not completing the season in time has cost them the easier semi. 
so at least no one’s gained anything from it this time

This should have been held at KL, then it wouldn’t have started until 8:15 … although, thinking about it, if it were at KL the match would have been called off yesterday …

Funny how we completed our league fixtures ahead of you then… the record books also state you were the ones who cancelled a fixture between us this season not the other way round.

Does nobody have an issue this year with it being picked again then? All the comments about the joke of speedway and this one is just being accepted by people 🤦🏼 I’m not being funny but die hard fans accept it as they love the sport… but this ish needs to be stopped if you want to appeal to a wider audience who wouldn’t bother with it again.

But had Sheffield won the home leg, then maybe the Ipswich riders would have been a bit more up for it tonight and wouldn't have lost, so the table would still have looked the same as it does now.

Well that is so embarrassing for the Ipswich riders, needing to be beaten away to then decide to turn up at home, if that’s the case they have disrespected all the paying home fans, so I would suggest the above is untrue or there would be many unhapppy fans. Also, Brennan commented that Sheffield were gating better and we have things still to work on for next week. So let’s as Ipswich fans, stop making excuses for them.

Don’t agree with that. It was just a very flat and poor performance, and Sheffield were very good and thoroughly deserved their win. Pickering was excellent
