Looking forward to your detailed unbiased review of the meeting. 🤔 Of course, if your riders want to stay safe they can always just ride round at the back. That way they might also lower their averages and then you can keep your 'all conquering' team together for next season.😉 Majority of stuff that Picko said in that interview I agree with, I even agreed to be fair that if they got to the final they would probably have won it and beaten us. I’m not saying all what he said was crap and that he shouldn’t show passion, we don’t see enough passion in the sport so it’s nice to see. My only problem is the little digs of last week’s meeting losing it for them when it clearly wasn’t. That’s why I wrote the other factors that came into play. Picko got promoted to Ekstraliga with Leszno so would be on cloud nine and didn’t haven’t to he bothered about this but clearly this still meant something to him so I’m happy to his passion. I have to agree with your comment about Flint, but I'm not going to slate him for it as he has been superb this season. Many said he was a gamble, but something has clicked for him this year and he has surpassed all expectations. As the playoffs approached, it was obvious the worst case scenario for us was the semi line up being the one we ended up with. Leicester have been our nemesis this year so would prefer to have avoided them. Ideally, we would have liked Belle Vue in the semis as I am confident we would have beaten them over 2 legs (awaits the inevitable pile on !!). I would then have been crossing my fingers that Ipswich won the other semi, as I felt we would have more chance of beating you than Leicester, but either would have been a good final and a close result either way. I think the issue with Flint was soon as he got moved into the main body of the team, you would have probably been in the final if he wasn’t in the main body. It looked more mental than physical and maybe the jump done him in mentality as in overthinking things. Same can be said for Thompson who also now is in our main body and struggled at first. The play offs are a lottery and unfortunately you had the 3 heats that lost you the semis in heat 13/14/15 last week. Ipswich have got the more favourable tie with Leicester as we can ride their track better than yours. As I’ve stated before if we don’t win this year we never will! It just delivers great racing time and time again, at all levels from NDL to GP..... However, Leicester does seem to deliver some very good racing more often than it is given credit for.. It must have a very narrow sweet spot between being too wet and being too dry, as it often will be one or the other .. Somewhere "Goldilocks" in the middle however appears perfect, and that "slingshot" you can get from the banking out wide, can be very effective and deliver some very good races .. Best of Luck to the Lions in the Final, let's hope it's a closely congested two legs... With the Lions narrowly coming out on top.... (120-60)....!!!😉😁

Picko on cloud 9 ?? More like cloud 15 as Leszno told him almost immediately to find another team, as he is not in their Extraleague plans. Yeah but my point was he won the title with Leszno 😂 I think anyone could see he wasn’t going to be in their Ekstraliga team as they wouldn’t survive. Ben cook will do well though I’m sure. I have been to all Premiership and Championship tracks at least once. Fifth time at Leicester this season (4 prem, 1 NDL) and I have to say its a very enjoyable experience, decent racing, which the track very rarely gets the credit for, decent views all around the stadium and nice staff. Well done Leicester in making the final and well done to the track curator for another good nights racing. I have to say I agree about the enjoyable experience and nice staff. They have been very welcoming to the many Panthers fans who are on loan to them currently. 😉 Last night they even did a stadium announcement about the Panthers fixture at Mildenhall on 25/10 they didn’t have to do that. I’ve been there about eight times this season and yes, it’s a bit jumpers for goalposts, but I quite like that. Kudos also to the Leicester supporters club, very well organised and no one can say they are not top of the league for their 50/50 draw, £615 prize last night and £850 prize the week before, shame I happened to win it earlier in the season when it was a measly £364! 😂 Edited yesterday at 12:17 PM by Mick Bratley
