Firstly, you don't know that ( although I accept you might well have more info than just we common fans) unless you were party to all the arrangements.

 

I cant imagine that promoters such as the Faccennas and owners such as messrs Rice and Southwell at Belle Vue, all serious business people, have had the wool pulled over their eyes. 

Maybe they think, knowing the deal that Speedway Futures has agreed, that it represents s good deal for them all.

2 BSPL directors (half), Bates and Ford, although they will have involvement as the BSPL Company seems to own most of BSFL.

You are right I don’t know that and I’m not party to any official information regarding speedway futures or the bspl although I do hear things which I know are true and either don’t make sense or are troubling

I thought most went to the number 1's at the time the Sky deal was in place.

It was distributed to vested promotions in an equitable manner who decided by and large to spend the vast majority of the income on paying riders inflated pay rates. 
What didn’t happen was that the money was handled in what the sponsors hoped for which was to use significant amounts of money to invest in the infrastructure and development of the sport which in turn would lead to a growth in interest and value for their subscriber base. 
As a comparison think what football, cricket, Rugby & darts have done to use TV money as a catalyst to greatly improve facilities and evolve their sport  to provide bigger & better experiences for both attendees & viewers alike.

Anyone seen or heard of anything of this great white hope for British speedway ? I saw the MP Phillip Davies write a big piece about greyhounds so he is still alive, Harry Redknapp has been on various media outlets talking about anything and everything except speedway, Rob Godfrey tells us the are working feverishly behind the scenes, a few little snippets of info about this amazing organisation might be a start or even just to let us know it’s still a thing

Rumours Maria Whitaker will be at the ko cup final with an empty used pringles tub which will contain the names of the 14 riders in it. Maria will pull the riders out one by one and that will be the riding order on the night.
