someones worried about ipswich chances 😂

Not sure why anyone would worry to be honest. They’re winning it at a canter.

Absolutely zero chance they throw in a performance like they did at home to Sheffield a few weeks ago when it really matters in a play off final. Everyone knew before a wheel was turned that it would take an injury or two to important riders for anyone else to have a chance. That may still happen of course! SON coming up. But if it doesn’t, there’s only one winner.

More than happy to be vaulted in a few weeks time.

I think Ipswich are favourites and I'm expecting them to win it all things being equal but I think they will be made to gallop at times rather than canter by Sheffield or Leicester.

If it’s a wet October from start to finish does Ipswich win the league from league position? Genuine question…

The Sheffield v Ipswich home fixture still needs to be raced to decide that 😂 the sport is a farce to be honest. Play offs likely should have been semis BV v Sheff and Ipswich v Leicester… never mind the rain offs for who gets to ride at home second leg

😉

All very predictable. The only chance I could see anyone having a sniff was if Ipswich again ran in to injury problems. At full strength, they’re comfortably the best side in the league simple as that. Great top two, excellent third heatleader in Brennan, and a potent reserve in Thompson. Far too strong.

I dont think we saw the best version of Leicester last night but much of that is down to Ipswich's performance and not allowing the Lions to be at their best. The reserves were the main difference, Kemp is such a frustrating enigma. Emil and Brennan were outstanding, the former was unfortunate in 15 when Douglas parked it in front of him.

The second leg ought to be a formality but if Leicester make some starts and get an early lead it could get interesting. Expect the Witches to hit 50 though and have it won before heat 15.

We were robbed of more box office action there! I’ve no doubt Emil would have hunted down those in front of him the way he was going. May not have caught Fricke this time, but would have certainly put him under pressure as he was far quicker all night. Emil was a bit unfortunate actually. Douglas locked up in front of him and made it difficult for Emil to avoid him.

Both riders made a mistake at the same time - Douglas locked up and Emil found some grip and lifted his front wheel. Unfortunately for Emil, it was him that made the contact so he had to go.

Oh I agree and Emil conceded that himself. Just saying he was unfortunate because although he caught a bit of unseen grip, Douglas had almost ground to a halt in front of him which gave Emil nowhere to go but in to him. He was unlucky.
