Not great that they previously promoted the 2023 & 2024 SGP's at Cardiff, 2023 being the near disaster that they unbelievably won FIM Speedway Local Organiser of the Year prize for. As far as I could tell it received pretty much zero promotion. Hopefully they'll be more invested now they're running the whole shooting match, at least they're starting from a pretty low base after the WBD years, so the only way should be up... let's see what the future brings. There has been a previous Mayfield Sports management which changed it’s name to Junefield Associates. On a google search it also came up that a winding up petition had been served previously. Not long now when CCP has to promote the series themselves. Not looking good if you ask me. But staying positive, Vojens had a good crowd! Of course, there will still be challenges, but I believe the future will be beneficial for the sport and the fans," Parsons tells us. What does Parsons say to this? "Sit back, fasten your seatbelts, and pay attention. Things are about to get interesting," the American company's director replies.
