The Polish league being shown would certainly help boost interest in the UK version of the sport, who could "piggy back" off it... Even if you have good racing here the 60+ year olds aren’t going to create an atmosphere. The passion for speedway isn’t here in this country. You don’t see these fans in Poland sitting down and filling in their programmes after each heat. Imagine being at a football match and someone scores and the first thing you do is fill in a booklet with the goal scorer and the score, I find it weird people do it for speedway ever since I got into the sport.
