Poole head into Fridays 2nd leg with a very healthy 14 point lead over Redcar.

With talisman Richard Lawson available again after compassionate leave Poole start as favourites to lift the Cup but the Bears will want to show the home support some resolve and come out fighting from the start.

Poole are at full strength but once again Redcar will av guests for Erik Riss and Jody Scott.

Like the use of " lawson is  available"  should he not have had a ban for missing last week ?

I am sure lots will show compassion for him and family if i suspect the reason for him missing last week is  what i have heard on the awful grapevine

Let's just put this to bed once and for all. There were some complications with the birth of Rich's son Rio, which required Rich to be there, but all is now well. Congratulations to all the family.

Leon Flint and Ben Trigger guesting for the Bears, makes them a stronger team than in the first leg, imo. Still an uphill struggle for them to overcome the 14 point advantage. 

Two weeks ago, Redcar were looking an in form team with every chance of being in all three finals, and with a bit of luck could even be on for the Treble. Now things aren't looking so great, this is going to be a mental challenge as well as a racing one for the Bears.

Yes team does look stronger than on Wednesday, but!!!!!! for me it depends how tired Danny and Jason are, they have ridden on Sunday, Monday, Wednesday, tonight, then on Friday at home,and finally on Sunday v Glasgow, still think we will beat Poole on the night but only 47 _43.
