Interesting to note that BSN have put up their prices by £2 tonight. Usually £12.99, tonight £14.99.

That is the same price as the Poole leg was and we all know which is better value for the neutrals.

Glasgow haven't put their prices up.

But then Poole don't charge a premium for seating or parking.

There is a limited number of seats at Ashfield, with high demand every week, so they charge a premium for a seat.

There is also a cost involved in putting a temporary stand on the third bend.

Plenty of stadiums charge for parking but there's plenty of on street parking in the area. Just don't park on the pavement or you risk a £100 fixed penalty and be respective of residents access.

There has always been an extra cost for the Main Stand so no different to any other meeting.

Go to a football match anywhere and you will pay extra for the stand.

After all the "discussions" about the quality of racing and the admission costs, I guess most people will find this irrelevant, but what happened to the music on Wednesday night? It has never been the same since Karlito left but it was dreadful, no walk on music, which totally killed the atmosphere from the off. No "Rocket Man" to celebrate Richard Lawson's victories, was it a different DJ?

Yea but with a big ego . Heard shouting #### I've been beaten by a 15 year old when Cooper beat him

All the best sport stars in every discipline have huge egos. And that's not a bad thing. Does Christiano Ronaldo not shout a bit? I'm just glad to see both youngsters are coming along nicely and will probably be of premiership standard before they are out of their teens. British speedway needs more like them, not whiny fans like you constantly griping about kids.

Watched the 1st leg at Poole on the stream, but as per speedway updates it was all 'FTG' From The Gate and processional.  Lost count of the number of times the commentators mentioned that the Wimborne Road track was really "slick".   Other than latterly at the end of Heat 2 there was never any danger of a pass.  I used to watch processional FTG racing and back then I didn't have too much of a problem with it, but these days it bores me to tears.  About 10 heats in I was totally bored with it and just switched it off.

For years I've encouraged friends and work mates to watch speedway but the answer they've always given me is that it's always just to the first bend and boring, and these days I find it difficult to argue with them.

I just don't find 'FTG' processional racing entertaining at all.  I'm with Gerry Facenna on that point where he reckons the sport needs to ditch the selfish approach of let's doctor the track and make it slick so there's no passing and just 'From The Gate' so we win, and instead provide entertainment where you actually see racing and passing and it's really entertaining and a fair racing track.  Although it usually does, it remains to be seen if the Ashfield track provides that tonight.

You not got an invite Gavan to pop round Shovvys with Rob for a few beers and cheer on the Pirates!

I think it is wonderful that SS has made a miracle recovery from the dreaded Covid the guy is a miracle man.

Nothing miracle about it. Out of action for ten days and still have fatigue. Most people recover from it.

Because the Glasgow management have never doctored the track to their advantage 🤣 Is Gerry going to be the first to "ditch the selfish approach"?  I doubt it.

Looking at tonight - is it compulsory for the Glasgow promotion to allow Poole a track walk prior to the meeting ? How many mechanics, grease monkeys and management from the Poole team have to be admitted to the pits ?

Usually 1 Rider and 1 mechanic, official team manager and owner/promotion, anyone extra should pay,

About the same number that Glasgow had at Poole. The management etc had to get their moneys worth having flown down with Ryanair!
