Smith and Perry at 6 & 7 would be a good reserve paring imo. Not convinced with any of the 3,but somebody will need them.

Nickinho
After last years experience with Ashton Boughen i can't see the Tigers going for Luke Harrison, another 17-year-old, on a 5 point average. I can see Tate Zischke (5.65?) being targeted due to the promotion's links with Workington. Flint and Zischke would be a very strong 3 & 4, possibly the strongest in the league.

Luke is certainly not an Ashton, he is on the way up in the sport and is talented and not handed everything on plate.Whoever gets him will get a good signing.IMO 4

According to his own website he's 17, you'd better tell him to update it. And remind me of a time when Luke Harrison scored highly around Ashfield, or for that matter looked anything other than a reserve when he visited the place. Hodder is probably a better bet for next year than Harrison (on an average more than 2 points lower). Your initial point was that Glasgow wouldn't take the risk on him because he is a similar age to Boughen but that's a daft reason to not sign him. Sounds like Glasgow have anyway and I think he'll do really well, he's an extremely talented young rider and most importantly a racer so Ashfleid will suit him perfectly.
