TTT Posted February 24 Author Report Share Posted February 24 Mayfield haven't tried hard enough when it comes to Team Building imo, They could've put out a much better 1-7 than rumoured but the vast majority of the blame lies with Chris Louis for leaving the Club playing catch up. Fricke was a race winner, and top of the averages.. You cannot then lose race points when he wins.. The possible Ipswich team won't be winning too many Heats One, Thirteen and Fifteen, I would think given the one and fives for the other teams... Ipswich Speedway Promotions Ltd is the company that holds the promotion rights to Ipswich Witches. Chris Louis is the sole shareholder. Chris Louis didn't want to continue, so his options were to pull out altogether (and have a near enough worthless company) or sell the company's main asset (the licence) to someone else. He chose the latter, and agreed to sell the club. Businesses change hands all the time. I might win the Euromillions this week and offer Buster a million quid for King's Lynn. We really don’t know how they work yet. They’ve come in and cut the money at GP level (understandably) so maybe their plan is to come in at Ipswich and run things cheaply? All the genuine number one’s were already snapped up but none of us know yet if they’d have stumped up the cash to get one of the top liners in even if they were still available. We’ll only know that and what their ambitions are, from next season onwards because they’ll get a free pass this time due to coming in so late. We know with Louis that he’s Ipswich through and through and he pushed things to the maximum to get the best team he could. We already had Doyle and nobody would have batted an eyelid if he’d just went with him and then built solidly downwards but he then went and added Emil as well. He could have saved himself a lot of money by just going with Doyle, and then packed in middle and lower order riders below him but he didn’t. I was a bit confused as well because they’re still showing the same 18 premiership meetings that they did last year. Logic states that if the PREM didn't have a TV deal then extra League Phase Meetings as well as PREM Play-Off Meetings would've been included in the PREM season pass subscription for a higher price much like the CHAMP season pass that's £50 extra.
