B Cook - 6.39

Kvech - 6.91

Rushen - 3.00?

Scott - RS

Yep that’s correct, I imagine the last rider will be a young overseas rider on a 4 🤷🏻‍♂️ but that’s just a guess… unless it’s someone like Barker or Castagna (both less likely)

if that 6 does turn out to be correct then im surprised there is no Klindt, and would guess the number 2 would probably be a young dane, leaves a fairly long tail. Does Scott definitely start on a 3 average if hes not a RS?

It would be a lot better for team building if whichever one isn’t RS started on a 2. That would open up the options a lot more and leave a perfectly sized Peter Kildemand shaped hole…

start on a 2 in the championship right? makes no sense to start on a higher average in the 'top' league.

I would think it is because the desire is to have riders that are of a standard fit to be in the top league rather than filling a team with fodder to gerrymander the remaining places

Personally with a RS position in place I would say that the other reserve should actually have to be at least 4 points let alone 3 or even2! (and non Brits should not be allowedto drop below this figure)

The other point in this which I will put forward in a devil's advocate role (because I understand the attraction of wanting the best for your team)

This shows some of the reason why the sport in the state it is - despite all that has gone on, and the league all but falling apart, (not out of the woods yet) the first serious chat about team building involves how the regulations may be changed/manipulated in order to give a team an advantage

And we wonder how we got to this point.....

There’s definitely no Klindt, that’s come from the man himself

With the points limit being as it is, I imagine all teams will have a long ish tail

Has it happened before where a rider has a testimonial at a track they don't ride for??

That seems odd to me, I do think it will affect the attendance too unless he signs up some proper big names.

It’s his testimonial year though and where else would he have it?… seems to me like he isn’t riding Britain at all apart from his testimonial

of course it doesnt make sense, why would he have a higher average in the top league, if anything it should be lower? Last season Kings Lynn built a strength in depth team and people moaned and this season it might be top heavy and people are still complaining about it.

It's not about the principle of if someone should have a higher average in the Championship - that's very obvious

What its about is ensuring only suitable riders take team spots in the Premiership

It shouldnt be a set up that has 2 point newcomers who in 99% of cases would be woefully out of their depth. It should be about higher standards and riders capable of being competitive

If you can't see that logic then your brain is 2 points short of a team limit :P

having seen Scott last season he wont be 'woefully out of his depth' at all, or is it just a case of Ipswich fans putting down young british riders again?

Be a good night to hold a testimonial on, a bit better than a Monday or a Thursday...

And. If he brought in a few "Prem Only" riders, and even non UK riding riders, it will give the Plymouth fans a bit of a novelty event to go and see..

Would give anyone who is a big fan of him personally a nice weekend away on the South Coast too...

Can fully understand why Stewart Dickson hasn't kept Max Fricke at Leicester as I don't get the logic behind the rumoured KL side at all.

That tail won't stand a chance of holding up at PREM level imo, Don't get me wrong, Scott and Rushen are good riders for the future but it's way too soon to be throwing them together as a 6 & 7 partnership at PREM level.

One of them as a Rising Star with an experienced No.6 who can take the pressure off is understandable but both of them as a partnership is baffling considering both riders lack experience.

You've also got Ben Cook who wasn't committed at all this year, So why would next year be any different especially when Leszno are now in the Polish Top League.

With regards to Ben Cook:

I was very critical of him but I'll happily say i was wrong. Ben said he didn't want to return until he was fit enough to deal with UK tracks. He came back & delivered, showing excellent form.

For me, he showed the right attitude of a committed rider.

Didn't want to turn up, score 2-3 points & collect a minimal pay cheque & damage the club as a whole further. His absence allowed King's Lynn the opportunity to select where possible, adequate guests that 'could' do better than him.

If the lad didn't give a 💩 he wouldn't have returned at all.

He was well aware of comments being made about him also, he could have said "fook the lot of them", but he came back & got his head down.

Commitment is not just about turning up week in week out. Commitment is delivering the best possible outcome to the individual & team.

Any rider with that type of attitude I'd rather have than one turning up injured not scoring points.

Give me 7 Ben Cook's in my team & I'd be more than happy.
