Tomorrow morning on BBC Radio Leicester! Team Manager Stewart Dickson will be live on air with Ady Dayman, talking all things Leicester Speedway.

📻 Tune in at 10am.

Not quite sure what he's got to say 🤷‍♂️

Hard to think what can be added to the statement unless the interviewer has some demon questions up his sleeve (and they get broadcast)

I'm assuming it'll just be comments on the last few seasons... as clearly nobody is allowed to comment on the future 🤷‍♂️

He's confident!

I am pleased he is....

He also mentioned that he asked for an meeting in June to discuss the situation but it was turned down. If the Leicester promotion/management could see the approaching car crash with Birmingham and Oxford not running in the Prem why couldn't the other promoters?

anything interesting said??

He said the he requested an emergency AGM last June/July as he could see this coming

They met in Barnsley 7 or 8 weeks ago under the impression everything was agreed... until a couple of weeks later it wasn't

He thinks something will be put in place (PL & CL) to get through 2026 with a view to a 6PL 8CL in 2027

He expects and is confident that Ippo will be sold and continue in PL

Sheffield not even mentioned!

The 2026 league will not be a perfect league (that's an understatement!)

I like you gaffer but business as usual worries me. It's not working Stewart wake up!

It's quite unfathomable that something that has been proven over the years to not work (and that was with a TV deal) and gotten us to the place that we are today... is something that they're striving (to ridiculous fantasy proportions) to keep!

So that would seem that a Championship club has said no to next season but yes in principal to 2027? Prob as they dont want the leftovers and will have a season to build a competitve team.

I seriously doubt any 2026 CL club would want to go PL in 2027, especially with no tv deal... I think that's just BSPL hoping a CL club takes leave of their senses and makes the move up... which just isn't going to happen, like it's not happened for the 2026 season.
