I’d say most championship teams will need significant changes if it’s on big league not just scunny!

I saw him a few times and in his last heat at Ashfield, he done well to hold off Flint for two or three laps. Every single other race was a shambles; downed tools after the first bend. Up there with Ivacic in terms of Scottish speedways worst ever signings.

You have one problem with your one big league for 2026, and that’s the fact that none of the 9 championship clubs will bow down to the Ipswich way.
InTheDeepStuff
Know it’s a big ‘if’ there’s one big league (personally think there’ll be a Premiership and Championship), but what makes people think Sheffield would want Pickering? Know his initial demands when talking to Sheffield didn’t go down too well with the people who will be involved running the club at Premiership level (I’ll let them announce themselves), and with his average being heavily biased based around home form there’s more consistent riders out there they could look at. Pickering at Scunthorpe In Championship is good for both parties, just now where he’ll end up in Premiership unless he out prices himself again like he’s done again in Polands (with Ekstraliga 2 and National League teams) after Leszno decided he wasn’t good enough for Ekstraliga

Doesn't matter as they've got riders who are ready to break off CHAMP contracts as we speak. Hopefully everything works out in the end which see's nobody lose out. Ipswich have a part in all this ,where’s their buyer it’s all a bit of a shambles.Sheffield don’t exactly look rosy. You can’t blame Championship for going ahead with their plans. You seem to be clutching at straws.

All signing are subject to approval If there is a big shake down and it ends as one big league it's quite simple They are not guaranteed to be approved New limits etc will be set Personally I expect it to still be Premiership and Championship in 2026 with the merger taking place in 2027 unless there is a miracle influx of financial support
