Youhave2minutes Posted yesterday at 10:59 AM Author Report Share Posted yesterday at 10:59 AM Time to offload Lambert. He’s now only a reserve as his form has nosedived.

Bad decision to drop Jordan for him ,A rider Scunthorpe fans didn't want this season, Nothing more than a journeyman reserve the fact he's scored 13 points in 4 meetings for the bears and Jenkins has scored 13 points in one meeting for Berwick says it all really ! I had more faith that Jenkins would hit form than signing Lambert . Club getting what they deserve ! 2

Spoken like a True Fan…..NOT! it’s not like there’s lots of options out there but I do think the riders lack of consistency is costing the club dearly. the T.M. needs to be more ruthless in his tactical changes perhaps.

I pay my money ,So have every right to have an opinion if you don't agree with it fine .But like you said it's not like there's lots of options out there ,As apparently you can have an opinion ? ,So why sign a rider with a lower average who's past his best ? Rather than stick with a young British rider with potential. Edited 23 hours ago by bororedlion

He is a rider on the up, and not like Lambert whose on his way down

Stuntdouble
Certainly been a revelation at shielfield for Berwick . Sublime again tonight against Scunthorpe. Not frightened either . A fantastic pass round bends 3 and 4 tonight.
szkocjasid
Need to be honest here, Jenkins was having a terrible time at Redcar averaging 3.52 (4.48). For a rider signed on a 6+ average, even Jenkins's biggest fans would have to admit it was a disastrous start to the season. Had he been showing his Berwick form, he'd be a heat leader & not dropped. There was always a chance he would find form at reserve, but he wouldn't have dropped down in June, could Redcar afford to wait another month? I wouldn't have preferred Lambert to Jenkins pre-season, but at the time of the change can understand the move. I don't think Lambert is scoring any less for Redcar than Jenkins was.

I would say "in hindsight bad decision to drop Jenkins for Lambert" You mention Lambert scoring 13 points in 4 meetings, but Jenkins scored 7 points in his last 4 meetings before being dropped! Could Redcar fans more more annoyed at the rider saying "why didn't you do that for us" rather than at the management for replacing him?
Redtruck
Personally I would make a big call and drop lambert and Allen, bring back Charles and bring a 2.00 with him to keep klindt in the team and actually run with a powerhouse 1&5 we have the points to play with do this
bororedlion
The club should of shown more faith in a young rider ,One they know what he's capable of and who has just came back from injury. Why should fans be annoyed at Jenkins its not like he deliberately tried not to score points . As for hindsight replacing a rider we brought in on a 6.15 average , who granted was underperforming and replacing with a journeyman rider on a 4.60 average is laughable as your trying to replace a second string with nothing more than an established reserve . The change was pointless ,We should of waited seen if jenkins form picked up or at least waited till someone better was available .

Did it before a few year back, but it’s not really Redcars style. Anyway Simon has his new race suit so he won’t be going anywhere soon😂. Personally, if the promotion came out & said something along the lines of” sorry we messed up team building this year, the 1 rider over 8 point average messed us up. We tried a different way, it hasn’t worked so stick by us and we will sort it for next year”. Something like that would hopefully calm the fans and let the riders relax a bit. It’s not as though it’s the first time we’ve challenged for the wooden spoon is it 🤷♂️
