You can't just estimate figures,however accurate they may be,it doesn't satisfy them

The way I'm seeing this Philip Davies thing, is that he's recently started up a "Consultancy" business - I think its called Nessen or something like that. He's also recently taken up the role of Chairman of Star Racing, which is a very upmarket gambling company, mostly involved in GG's but dabbles in other sports as well if it's lucrative enough.

So, while there is no way that Star Racing would ever want to be associated with Speedway, Davies would seem to have contacts within the "betting industry". Therefore I'd guess that Speedway Futures Ltd have engaged his services via Nessen, to broker a deal with a betting company. Nessen would then presumably take an agreed financial slice of such an arrangement, if one is struck. So the betting company would have their name and logo prominent across all UK speedway and goodness knows what else. And it's probable that Nessen would give the directors of Speedway Futures Ltd a bottle of sherry each, as thanks for putting the gig their (Davies's) way.

As to Davies himself, I think that Grand Central has described him in a post on this thread. I couldn't possibly add further comment!!
