I think at the time of this article, he was only lined-up for the Swedish League, but the ban extends to all speedway.

Positives -> The real Musielak is back and King has been in red hot form scoring 9 Points in every meeting for Ipswich.

Negatives -> Jenkins hasn't started the season well and I think King's Lynn's tail end will be much better this time around.

Think this will be a close one that will be decided by how Brennan goes on the night.

He’s been another negative for me. Had that great meeting at Lynn, but that aside he’s been disappointing. Early days I know.

I agree, Tom is struggling at No.1 so far and I think that's why Paul Hurry has put Danny King @ No.2 to ease the pressure a little bit.

Getting away with it at the moment due to Musielak reverting back to his Sheffield form, Defo need Tom to come to the party soon though.

The council have announced a celebration parade across the town for Tomorrow to celebrate promotion back to the Premier League, followed by a celebration event in Christchurch Park that players will be attending. This will undoubtedly hit attendance figures at Foxhall and will also make travelling difficult for certain people depending where you’re travelling from. 
 

It’s a shame for Mayfield as they’d have been hoping for a bumper Bank Holiday pay day so it’s pretty poor from the Council. Why couldn’t they have arranged this for next Sunday?

There’ll be an awful lot of people who would have liked to have attended both.

A couple of things that always concerned me about this bank holiday fixture.

Firsty Lynn visiting for the second time in a month would likely hit the attendance. Secondly of Town got promoted there was always going to be an event in the park to celebrate in the bank holiday Monday.

Two years ago I tried to do the football celebration & the speedway and although the main bit finished in plenty of time to get to Foxhall the traffic in town ment I didn’t get there.

Probably because most of the players & management will be on holiday.

Letd be honest the council will not put back an event that will be bring close to 40000 into the town centre in favour of a speedway match at Foxhall that will attract 4000 & bring no money into the town centre.

They would still get that 40,000 next Sunday so the economy side is irrelevant. Don’t buy the players on holiday excuse seven days after the final fixture so we’ll agree to disagree there. They claim to be supportive of the Speedway in the town, but have just sh!t on it from a great height. The football is a multi million pound business that will survive regardless, the Bank Holiday fixture for the Speedway can be the difference between breaking even, or making a business loss at the end of the season. 
 

Anyway no point going over and over it the decision has been made and it’s done.

I believe the emergency gas repairs on the Foxhall Road / Heath Road roundabout will still be in place. There are 4 way traffic lights, so this may cause some disruption  and delay to those heading to Foxhall stadium. 

This is why the vintage car run today has been rerouted.

Reading the key timings put out by the council the park bit should still be finished by 12.30/1 so no reason you couldnt do both
