Lots of comments on the Ipswich facebook page people saying with all the rain had it should be called off?

Well they’re talking nonsense. Nowhere near enough rain to call it off! BUT, the radar isn’t great on a couple of models from 5 onwards. Let’s hope they’re wrong. marko
In Essex we have had plenty of hail, I have a small RC dirt track in my back garden, I have a home made grader which is towed around using an Rc car it to rip the top surface a bit, but track still hard as nails from when it was rolled and sun baked dry, water just runs off it, and I suspect go down a few CMs and it will be dry as a bone. Everyone round to @marko's... can you also run Sheffield vs Northamptoningham and Leicester vs Lynn in a triple header? It's been a lovely sunny day here in Leicester 😉
ShanoXtra
Last 10 mins Foxhall has had a massive shower leaving puddles everywhere 👀 starting to look like a harder task now to get tonight running good… stranger things have happened though 17:00 will see the biggest downpour if predictions are accurate, with a brief passing shower at 18:00 Edited 4 hours ago by ShanoXtra . It's been a lovely sunny day here in Leicester 😉 Unfortunately my track only covers an area of 40ft by 15ft, it is an oval though. But seriously everyone always worries about rain yet it’s the best way to water a track, after all it has to be watered anyway, so long as it doesn’t chuck it down within an hour of start time so it leaves surface water or during the meeting itself, it shouldn’t be an issue. Ok so you might end up with one line, but you have that if it’s bone dry and dusty so what difference does it make?
Aries
If it survives then conditions will be tricky that’s for sure! Still no word of a call off from official channels and it’s actually brightening up in town centre so who knows

I think it will affect the fanbase though as many wouldn’t have travelled from a distance due to the weather and uncertainty!
JamesHawkes
Travelled down for the Kings Lynn match on Monday (was perfectly dry but fairly cold for a May meeting!) Gave this evening a swerve based on the weather forecast, be great if they can get the meeting on but I think the track could be fairly tricky to say the least! GeneralMelchett
I am about 15 miles south of Ipswich and it’s a nice bright evening now sunshine out etc so it’s probably fair to say the meeting will definitely start! Radar suggests slight chance of rain later but again IMO not enough to stop the meeting!
