Heavy rain last night and most of the day today has already left the track flooded. The planned work this evening on the track couldn’t be done so surface would just worse 

The forecast for Thursday is poor and there is planned heavy rain between 5 and 8pm. Riders need to fly in for this meeting and a call off in the morning would be too late to change plans so an early decision was made

Hmm, not so sure, Leicester have always been a bit dodgy on a wet home track, we'll never know now. Hopefully DT will be back for the re-staging though.

May have been a home win tonight if it was on still but I think it would have been the Stars’ chance to keep it as close as possible, with Lions running R/R for DT and we had Joe at reserve who could have contributed pretty well (by beating Gilkes at least)

if they have Dan back for the restaging I can see them winning 53-37 at the very least… whereas tonight I think it would have only been 50-40 at the very very most
