InTheDeepStuff
Watched rerun on BSN (a lot of fast forwarding through FTG races) well done King’s Lynn on a great comeback to grab all 3 points available on the night Know there’s not a lot of choice out there to replace Jack Holder (that will come at a cost that’s achievable to pay anyway) so unfortunately stuck with guests or R/R for the foreseeable, is there any chance Sheffield might look to strengthen the number 6 slot at reserve? Etheridge ok at Owlerton but usually unreliable away from there, wonder if any options of someone who maybe able to give them a bit more especially away from Owlerton, be interesting to see what’s out there on an average of just over 3 when converted from Championship (or historical Premiership) 🤷♂️
Whitelinehugger
Rushens win in heat 14 sealed the deal.
GeneralMelchett
Good result for Lynn - all of a sudden they are in the play off spots!! their home defeats may well ultimately do for them BUT for now there are 5 teams going for 4 spots!! Heathcote
11 hours ago, Daniel Smith said: That's a random take. I don't think any 'World Class' rider wouldn't sign on the basis of who rides when they're not there. Sheffield's home stats are also showing that Jack being missing shouldn't effect the result that greatly. Jack has averages less than 8.00 so far at home in 2026 & tonight the covering riders managed an 8.00 average. Sheffield was 10 up after 10 and 5-1'd heat 15. Only heat 13 the result could have been different but with that being possibly the strongest heat in a meeting, winning isn't guaranteed. It is an absolutely terrific result for the Stars and some credit should be given to them for turning around a 10 point deficit with 5 heats left. To do that away from home, especially at Sheffield, was an incredible turnaround. Not sure which stats are showing Jacks average at has less than 8?? He has scored paid 51 from 19 rides, an average of 10.7 at home in old money, new its still over 9.5 As for replacing Jack, surely Doyle comes into the team next week at Ipswich, his 28 day spell finishes with the Aces on Monday and I haven't seen anywhere that they have made the deal permanent, then again I also haven't seen anything suggesting Bewley will return. So not sure whether a 28 deal can be extended further, but thats by far the cheapest easiest and simplest solution for Sheffield

We said on the pod in Wednesday that Lynn taking advantage of a vulnerable Sheffield and Leicester doing the same to a vulnerable Ipswich would give our chances a massive shot in the arm and so it proved. From a Lynn point of view isolating Ipswich as the team who we can realistically overhaul is probably our best chance, another home defeat for them would be handy. But Lynn need to win at Northampton twice and be unblemished at home as a minimum to get 4th IMO.

Putting my support of the Witches aside the league needs this 😉 1

Don't forget the huge difference in prize money between finishing second from bottom or third from bottom! Arthur Fery is now guaranteed £900,000, irrespective of his result this afternoon. Indeed he was guaranteed £80,000 just for reaching the First round - I don't imagine the British Speedway Premiership Champions actually get anything except a medal ... InTheDeepStuff
Would imagine Sheffield on to Doyle to guest for Jack Holder next Thursday as he’ll be at Belle Vue as long as Bewley is out for
