Douglas did as much as he could. Jeppesen did his best and scored and Morris played his part. Sam Masters was awful and needs to look in a mirror. Yes thats right, wing mirrors could help prevent him being easily passed
Bagpuss Posted yesterday at 01:31 PM Report Share Posted yesterday at 01:31 PM I think Belle Vue have simply built the best team. Yes they are very good on their own track but that's been cultivated as much as anything over a period of time. The obvious key for them now is avoiding injuries.

And as weve seen many times in football play offs its about peaking at the right time, with speedway you can add in injuries too, also as the climate changes later in the year set ups change. Yes we should win the league but there are things to factor in. Having said that even though i like the team to succeed theres not much kudos attached to this 6 team league is there? Truth is that they have built the best all round team this year and for once the reserves are scoring consistently.

Don’t know if I’m seeing it wrong but dosent every team enjoy home track advantage for half of their fixtures. The fact that the other teams cave in at the NSS is the main point to all this. Beaten even before they turn up. It’s not good.
PhilTheAce
Our away form as been decent to. I think people are being very rude to the team marks built. Its a young team as well so was always going to improve as the season goes on
PhilTheAce
Also Mcdairmid never been NSS and scored more than 6 lions riders. Can't blame home track advantage for that. I remember riders use to bring engines over from Poland to race in Manchester. But now just use there UK engines. Maybe its time they start bringing back there fast engines from poland for manchester. Which im sure they will come play offs
kevin bass
Tbf even Doyle has upped his form round Belle Vue coz he wasnt always scoring heavily when he rode for Ipswich round there, but then again i suppose he aint got Kurtz/Bewley to contend with saying that.
