Putting Paco's calamity celebration to the side, last night's meeting was a great example of what speedway should be like. Good track, passing, nip and tuck all meeting, riders pushing for the full 4 laps and a super heat to put the cherry on top. Well done to both teams.

The track had a bit about it last night. There was enough dirt down to chase and the inside and outside lines were working meaning there was passing right to the last heat.

When you get the correct ingredients for the right riders the product can be good. It is a choice though. Last night was superb but largely an outlier in many seasons of unspectacular meetings on a slick surface. Perhaps we could do it again in future when GLA visit if racing as good as this is the result.

Not even sure where to start or what to say about last night. Guests at reserve made the big difference, Jordy would’ve scored much more than Vinnie did and you’d of been Lucky if Mario would’ve scored one compared to the paid 6 Battye did. I’m sure the wee German will make a quick and swift recovery from his very serious back injury. 🤥

Paco not sure what to say about him in heat 14 that’s allowed on here. Absolute clown and brain dead probably describe the last lap and a half of heat 14, just go win the race and celebrate as much as you want. Instead you’ve cost your team 2 very important league points. Well done you.

To be fair , if our guest at number 1 last performed as he usually does at Ashfield then we would have won , same if Kemp had performed, so make a change for guests to actually do something for us

Why is the Glasgow Promotion keeping quiet regarding a possible new signing ??

Do they have someone, or are we being blocked to sign anyone because the Speedway Management Committee (POOLE (Ford)     EDINBURGH  (Campbell)  and SCUNNY (Godfrey) )  are blocking any signing.

Will we have to use Guests from now until the end of the season ???

If it's a legal change & fits under the averages, they should just announce it "subject to management committee approval" then if it was to be refused (for no reason) the management committee have nowhere to hide (from accusations of bias)

Rather go with guests or r/r myself. But yes wait and see.

As Howarth retired rather than got injured, they should only have a facility for 28 days, then would have to be a 75% guest.

They won't want to use a 6 point guest in the play-offs.

Neither Matt nor Danny Ford are on the 'Management Committee'/ Executive Board!

Big mistake, maybe he doesnt want to but matt ford should be top of anybodys list for people to be involved in the running of british speedway.

Would have to be a multiple change as Cook has a higher average than Howarth & Glasgow are over the limit.

Not oked closely at averages but howarth and Hausl out . Cook and a 2 pointer in, know it would weaken middle order but Harris, flint,Petersen and cook could score enough to win meetings, Hausl hasn't done a great deal since signing

At the time Howarth quit he was above Cook, but dropped below him with effect from 1st August. I assume the promotion is struggling with lack of available riders, and fixture clashes for the likes of Nagel, and Basso
