GP venues and news for 2027

I can’t see who else can hold it? A return to Cardiff isn’t happening. 
 

Ipswich I can tell you is planned, but that won’t be next year. My understanding is Mayfield are still in negotiations with the lease holders to get the extended access to the stadium they need. They’re prepared to front up rent for seasons in advance to get in, and rework the track and pit area so it meets FIM standards. 
 

That agreement hasn’t yet been reached the last I heard from a reliable source. 
 

Should leave it where it is for now IMO. It’s a great weekend having two GP’s on consecutive days on an excellent race track.

My concern with Ipswich is the track shape, its simply not big enough for a GP, if they can make the track bigger than maybe, but im not sure it would offer up great racing as it is.   But i wouldn't be against them giving it a try, i think GPs should be shared about, it adds variety and keeps it fresh for everyone.

I’d be surprised if it’s next year for Ipswich because I don’t think Foxhall will be ready but maybe things have changed in recent weeks. I was told 2028 was more realistic for Ipswich but again, maybe the situation has changed.

By all accounts the full calendar will be known today so we’ll soon find out.
