How easy would it be if the worst thing came out of this and Lambert decides to race on a Polish licence?IS it just a signature on a a piece of paper or does it go deeper then that that with complex  lists of doing stuff for  the nation of the counrtry he is riding for?Maybe a stupid question but do you have to do national service in Poland for example which!! might put him off

Newsflash. Russian atrocities didn't start with Ukraine. Do you know anything about Russian history? If not, try asking any of the following...

Poland, Finland, Estonia, Latvia, Lithuania, Romania, Hungary, Germany, Czechoslovakia, Moldova, Azerbaijan, Chechnya, Georgia, Afghanistan, Syria, Japan, China or South Korea to name but a few. And that's not to mention the crimes against their own people, either. The Soviet Union specialised in rapid, industrialised internal terror, political purges, and ideological subjugation that killed millions of its own citizens.

While you're at it, you could also ask the over 3,000,000 slaves England/Britain transported in the 17th/18th centuries. Every country has its past!

Indeed, which is exactly my point. I didn't claim the British Empire doesn't have a dark history. I'm simply pointing out that to say the Russian history doesn't compare - like our slightly mad forum member is trying to do - is completely absurd. He was trying to compare the Russian-Ukraine situation to British history, while completely glossing over the Russian history. Look back at the thread.

Every country may have a past, but the Russia situation is currently a present. That's the big difference.

I’d also like to see enforced in contracts that when you sign for a team you have to turn up to the end of season awards night, it’s such a small gesture to the fans but it seems it’s the end of the earth for some riders
