Turning our attention to next year where we do we go with this team. As someone who has been to most meetings my general opinions are ramblings as some might say about each rider are below. Josh Pickering - Superb no1 best in the league and great entertainment. Michael Palm Toft -was totally horrific for the first 2/3 of the season then totally turned it on for the latter half of the season. Would I sign him again, probably. Luke Harrison - progressed nicely and was do well in the No5 berth. Already said he is going elsewhere for 2027 and wish him nothing but the best. Connor Mountain - Always reasonably consistent and reliable, looking at his average I would deffo get him in for 27. Nathan Ablitt - arrived on an inflated average and hadn’t rode the year before. Nathan definitely progressed and did well enough in the main body however when it came down to it in big meetings he went missing. The jury’s out as to whether I want him back. Jacob Hook - Had the unenviable task of signing half way through the season and then got injured. Unsurprisingly struggled and didn’t lower his average enough to entice me into thinking he’s a good signing. Ryan Ingram - Had a great first season at the level, was super around the EWR however struggled away from home. Would I sign him for his home form? Probably, however needs to offer a little more away from home on that average in 27. Potential incomings - as we all know Rob has his mould of rider. I would like Jordan Jenkins however I think Berwick will be after him. Have seen Tate Zischke mentioned on this thread, he would be a great signing on his average and rides the EWR well, however can’t see it. We probably need another lower point reserve and I don’t know where it’s coming from. Do we take a pun on Vinne Foord or Jack Smith? I think i worked out that James Shanes average is 3.22 with all the new reductions for riders returning to the sport, and I dare I say it Jason Garrity would be on a good average but how would that go down with the fans? Thought Garrity in prison again? That what they are saying on his thread.

Agree what you said about Picko. MPT is a tough one, had a disappointing season mostly, but then came good, which most fans remember. I think Mountain went backwards, should have been looking to become a number 5, rather than drop to reserve, but that now means he looks to be on an attractive average. Ablitt actually got half a point knocked off for missing 2025, which he put back on his average, so sounds like a good signing for the season. I've not seen enough of him to comment, but plenty seem to not want him back? Hook, very accurate explanation. Ingram, I'd definitely want him back, this year has shown how valuable having a strong home team is.

I think with Ablitt he just doesn’t quite have the consistently from meeting to meeting just yet, however I do think there is a good rider in there. He’s only young and dominated a number of the youth ranks when he was younger. For me he’s a 50/50 for 2027, wouldn’t be shocked to see him but also wouldn’t be shocked to see him dropped

I did see that and thought back to his time as a scorpion. However he didn’t set the world alight then and can’t have improved much as he hasn’t been riding! Didn’t know he had been riding in Sweden to be fair. Just had a look at his scores and looks as though he did ok, not sure on the level though. As he’s rode in Sweden would that now make him a 5.00 rider though?
